PIRATES Of The Caribbean director Gore Verbinski will make a movie based on the hit videogame Bioshock, Take-Two Interactive Software has announced.

If anyone can do it, it's Verbinski. Thankfully he's chosen a new game with relatively no important storyline details to follow. Big Daddys, Little Sisters, Adam and Eve. Those are the important details. Can't go too wrong.

But I've probably jinxed it now.

I don't doubt him at all, I just wanted to make a nerdy funny. I'm really looking forward to this. Bioshock was incredibly cinematic as it was, even if I didn't enjoy the actual gameplay. Tbh I'll probably prefer it as a movie.

If he pulls this out as well as the pirates movie it may be my favorite movie of all time. I hope against hope that this won't be a shit-tastrophe. The screenplay is being penned by the guy who wrote Gladiator, The Last Samurai, and Aviator, so that makes me even more optimistic about the whole thing.
