Duokun
I've got quite a few requests that I would really love seeing remixed. The list is, I guess, larger than a normal person's request, but I don't expect all of them to be recognized, if any at all for that matter. Let me begin. Super Mario Galaxy - Purple Comet Details: The theme song played during all of the time limited Purple Coin Missions in Super Mario Galaxy. Remix Genre: I would love to hear this song with a Techno/Orchestrated or a Rock/Orchestrated hybrid style. The original song concentrates highly on orchestration only, but I feel that adding some techno or rock to it would really snaz things up. Remix Style Preference: Purple Comet features a nice build up before the climax of the song. I would like to keep that build up style, but without making it too long. I'm quite sure that remixing requires a certain amount of originality added onto the original track, but please try to keep the main beat of the song intact and powerful. EDIT: I changed the link for this track. I noticed that the original one I posted cut out most of the intro and had some mario snoring in it (game rip). Original Track Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=reO5AHNAEx8&fmt=18 Super Mario Galaxy - Good Egg Galaxy Details: The theme song played when playing in Good Egg Galaxy. This is also the theme song used when Mario rescues Peach at the end of the game. Remix Genre: Like the Purple Comet song, I'd like to hear a combination of Techno/Orchestrated or Rock/Orchestrated. Remix Style Preference: The main thing I'm looking for in a remix for this song would be to maintain the power of the song. There is a section in the song that has a very powerful emotional impact that's caused mostly by the deep cello, and I don't want that power to vanish. Original Track Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=29Mdel1f33o&fmt=18 Super Mario Galaxy - Gusty Garden Galaxy Details: The theme song for the Gusty Garden Galaxy stage. This is also probably the most popular of SMG songs. Remix Genre: One word - freestyle. I personally think this song sounds like crap with a pure techno remix (I've heard a few), and I think throwing rock into this particular song doesn't suit it whatsoever. The best way I could describe the genre would be Alternative I guess. Throw anything and everything into it to make it original and awesome. Remix Style Preferences: A common attribute of all SMG songs is that they all hold a very immense power in their tunes. No matter what you (the ReMixer) does, do not lose the emotional power that all SMG songs carry. Original Track Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o1ZapSpACAk&fmt=18 Super Mario Galaxy - Rosalina's Comet Observatory Details: The theme song for Rosalina's Comet Observatory, aka your home turf in Super Mario Galaxy. Remix Genre: Dance. Gotta be dance without a doubt. The original track already has the potential for being "danceable" music, but the instruments create more of a calm feel. Changing the style to dance would make this one. Epic. Song. Remix Style Preferences: The track changes throughout the game depending on the number of stars you have collected - it has three stages to be exact. The remix should keep that structure of transformation. Original Track Link: Version 1 - Version 2 - Version 3 - Mario Kart Wii - Rainbow Road Details: The Rainbow Road theme for Mario Kart Wii (not the other Mario Karts). Remix Genre: I have a difficult time ascribing this song to a genre. So instead, I'll just say that I'd love to hear it recreated to have a more mysterious, beautiful, emotional feel. I guess you could say that the best instruments for this would be piano, some orchestra, and perhaps some trance to give it spicing. To say it real general, "just make it better." Remix Style Preference: Maintain the happy feel of the song. Also keep that feeling of "finally, this is the last track ever, LET'S ROCK THIS MOTHA TRUCKA!" I hope my ReQuests hold enough information for a ReMixer to get a general idea of what I'm after. Final note: If ReMixers require the actual MP3s for these songs, they can be found here - Super Mario Galaxy OST - http://www.videogamescrapbook.com/super_mario_galaxy Mario Kart Wii OST - http://www.videogamescrapbook.com/mario_kart_wii
buh6173
But of course, there are plenty of other great Wii games that require remixes. [cough fire emblem cough]

Lemonectric
Doesn't fit the style you were looking for, but here's another Good Egg remix I like: germonte - Egg Planet
Incronaut
Good Egg Galaxy is a GREAT orchestral song, and I thought the remix was reaaalllllyyy well done!
Koizo
I'd love a remix of this one: Buoy Base Galaxy: One of the 2-Star galaxies, this galaxy deserved to be one of the main due to its great theme song. They could've used it in the Dreadnought Galaxy, instead of Battlerock's, but that one wasn't bad either. A trance/techno remix could sound well with this one. Making extensive use of the build-up, theremin parts and that 1:35:1:41 part. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WsAFpdAgh6A
