Overflow Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 This is excellent.... One question, what does EP mean? Quote
Red Shadow Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 Extended Play is the term used when an artist releases more music than would be contained on a Single, but not so much as to be qualified a full length album (LP). Beatdrop just gave us less than 30 minutes of music and is calling it an EP Quote
Audity Posted November 19, 2008 Posted November 19, 2008 good to see that your not afraid to take some risks This should be everyone's attitude. Though it's not often that it actually works as well as Burn Out (but it still works). Quote
Dhsu Posted November 19, 2008 Posted November 19, 2008 Great stuff, Dain. Did you do all the vocals? Quote
Red Shadow Posted November 19, 2008 Posted November 19, 2008 and he is too afraid to take risks cause i still dont see any remix of that magicant theme Quote
Beatdrop Posted November 19, 2008 Author Posted November 19, 2008 What magnificent theme! What are you talking about? Quote
jmr Posted November 19, 2008 Posted November 19, 2008 He said Magicant, not magnificent. I'm guessing he's talking about this: or this: ... but I can't really see how any of this is relevant to this thread. Quote
Martin Penwald Posted November 19, 2008 Posted November 19, 2008 Here is where it ends is an incredible track; been listening to it on repeat for a long time. Hot damn it's amazing. Quote
Beatdrop Posted November 20, 2008 Author Posted November 20, 2008 Here is where it ends is an incredible track; been listening to it on repeat for a long time. Hot damn it's amazing. Thank you Glad to see that people actually enjoy that song. I like to make hard and fast stuff, but I get paranoid that no one ELSE will like it. Quote
Martin Penwald Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 Thank you Glad to see that people actually enjoy that song. I like to make hard and fast stuff, but I get paranoid that no one ELSE will like it. As far as I'm concerned, you can be as hard and fast as you want; I'll enjoy it. Quote
Platonist Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 this is great news and oh hell that's some sexy artwork can't wait to hear this - keep it up you sick ace-of-base-lover Quote
D-Lux Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 As far as I'm concerned, you can be as hard and fast as you want; I'll enjoy it. That's what she said. Congrats on the DDR track and very solid EP release. When's your next VG remix coming out? Revolutions was amazing. Quote
Beatdrop Posted November 24, 2008 Author Posted November 24, 2008 When's your next VG remix coming out? Revolutions was amazing. That'll probably end up being sometime after the album is released. I'm running on a pretty tight schedule because after the album comes out IN EIGHT DAYS OMG, I'm due to go home on leave on December 29th, and I won't get back until late January, so I won't have access to music shite until then. That's part of the reason I'm pushing to get this album out NOW, because if I delay on it, it won't be out until 2009. And I'd rather not release two albums in one year, soooooo... Quote
Dhsu Posted November 28, 2008 Posted November 28, 2008 Oh hey look what I found. Looking forward to your album. Quote
Beatdrop Posted November 29, 2008 Author Posted November 29, 2008 Dhsu, you're a doll. I greatly appreciate the review. Greatly greatly. FUCKING-- 2 DAYS. Quote
