Well...I don't have any comments, but I can say I hate 8-bit. Long live 4-bit!

I've never been good with 8-bit composing as my lack of base-writing skills are accentuated. Still, I think the base should either be one octave lower, or an extremely low base instrument be added. (Maybe.)

How long do you plan this to be? It sounds just like a cute, short, experimental piece.

I dunno... I wondered how well received a 'chiptunemix' would be (with non 8bit instruments too- it would get a lil' boring otherwise I guess) so wondered whether or not it would be worth it. Yeah- I guess you're right about the bass- I'm gunna mess about with all the tracks anyway.

I would very VERY much like to see (hear) four bit... Freakin' ace...

Anything that's well done will get a fair shot I'm sure, but I think the climate around here is infavorable to a 100% chiptune. As long as you add some other original elements to it, I'm sure it'd be fine.

An artist who does stuff kinda like that would be "she." You can find his stuff at http://shemusic.org.

Well, you've probably heard one-bit. Or rather, either you hear it or you don't. Two-bit: Either you hear it, you don't, or you can neither confirm it is on or off, thus it is simultaneously both and neither. Four-bit: Just friken crazy shit.

The mild key clashes are intentional actually. Kinda highlights the fact the source has this chromaticism thing going. (F#Major in the key of C!?) Yeah and close to source too. I might try building up the texture actually... It's kinda marchy do maybe I need a rolling snare... Hrmmm...
