Benjamin Briggs Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 I'm asking because whenever I have more than two or three track running, all their respective volume fluctuate like crazy... as if flstudio is trying to master the track automatically or something but when I render, everything sounds fine, no volume fluctuations or anything unusual just wondering if I can turn something off so I can hear the actual output without rendering edit: this should be moved to the flstudio subforum... my bad Quote
Tensei Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 Depending on your version of FL, sometimes the default start-up template is set up so that it places a Fruity Limiter on the master track in the mixer, that might be the problem here. Quote
Zephyr Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 Only thing I can think of would by either a fruity limiter or compressor on the master track, or it's you're soundcard. Quote
Nase Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 Fruity 8.0.0 had a limiter on the master channel of the empty project (or it loaded a limiter template by default, dunno), I think it got removed in 8.0.2. Either way, it'd be audible in the rendered file as well, so I have no idea. Quote
Demonstray Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 Yeah, by default your FL Studio will open Fruity Limiter, so all you gotta do is select the Master channel in your Mixer, and Fruity Limiter will be in the 8th plugin slot. I assume you know how to remove plugins, so I'll leave that to you. Quote
Benjamin Briggs Posted December 22, 2008 Author Posted December 22, 2008 I am aware of that problem, had it before, that's not what's up maybe it is my soundcard edit: easy fix - I just turned down the master volume until the problem stopped... I can maximize the track externally VICTORY Quote
