Malcos Posted November 5, 2003 Share Posted November 5, 2003 The percussion processing on this is excellent, the reverb used and the amount of it, I felt like I was actually in a factory. Unfortunately, that is where the good stuff ends. This song has not got a lot to it at all. Sonically, yes the mix sounds full because of the generous reverb applied. However, the mix does not evolve as one might expect, and the lack of non-persussional instruments makes for rapidly declining interest. NO I recommend adding different elements, such as an orginal bassline, a counter melody, maybe some pads in the background. Although applying copious amounts of reverb to anything will give you that effect. Aside from the percussion, everything's drowned out and weak. The synths sound pretty bad.
