argh, i accidentally deleted this and had to download it again.

i'm kinda confused what the artistic vision of the author is here. so i'll just have to call things as i see (hear) them... toms are weak sounding and don't change up much, piano sounds out of tune, arrangement is sparse and repetitious towards the end and the whole thing sounds under-polished overall. the 'atmosphere' of this track is almost there with the vocals, but the whole production still just feels under developed.

This mix didn't sound how I thought it would, judging from the intro.

Where shall I start? Ok, the first and most obvious is that the choir is waaay out of tune with the piano. The drums have none of the ambience of the piano, and so the song sounds very disjointed indeed.

Nice concept, I can see where the mixer was coming from, but this is a

The piano is definitely out of tune, but would've given the arrangement an interesting sound if the lame percussion wasn't such a strong juxtaposition and the choir was less of a carry. Either way, this is generally off-key and rough (hello, clipping) with no real benefit. Like those rough drafts I'd write on the school bus due the same day.
