Looping it again? Missing the lead... NO Cool song, but its the original. Go for a remix/rearrangment. Not just original + drumloop.

Drums are way too hot, and even within themselves are unbalanced and awkwardly EQ'd. Add in some originality, and try to get a more consistent sound level out of the instrumentation. Compression can be our friend. And it can also kill you. It's like a girl. NO -D

Malcos Posted May 26, 2004 Posted May 26, 2004 Wow, damn that kick is loud. I thought the 808 boom was going to be the loudest thing, so I turned it up a bit. The drums need to be balaced out a bit. The kick doesn't need to be THAT hard. The arrangement needs some variation, because this gets boring about half way through; this kind of mix would work as a backing track to vocals, but it's not. Work on this some more and then resubmit. NO
