Liontamer Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 Can you recommend me some? Thanks for any help you can give! Quote
kitty Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 Pandora Recovery. Free and simple to use. Try not to write any data on the drive you're recovering from as it will destroy the lost data permanently. http://www.pandorarecovery.com/ Quote
Level 99 Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 The best one I can recommend, and the one which is also currently helping me rescue a friend's pc, is EASEUS Data Recovery Wizard. There are some others but that one is doing a bang up job of scanning sectors and finding files missing from the MFT and partition list. It's a little expensive but definitely worth it. Quote

EASEUS is actually free until Feb. 1 for a promotion, so that was great. Thanks, Stevo! Quote
BigApple Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 Advanced file recovery once helped me out Quote
m68030 Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 Spinrite is a perennial favorite of mine for low level recovery. Don't know what you're trying to fix though. Quote
