I am sure you are familiar with the source. Don't take this mix too seriously... Just got new studio monitors and had an urge to make some silly epic metal out of this tune.

Hehehehe... Oh, this is barely taking itself seriously, it's so metal. I like it, don't get me wrong. But I did NOT expect the lyrics. Those hit me from out of left field. Definitely work on the ending, though. I did not like how it just snapped off without warning. Other than that, it's great despite being cheesy enough to spread over tortilla chips for nachos.

Pretty conservative arrangement, although I hear some new riffs added here and there. I actually liked the addition of vocals, they seemed to fit pretty well. It sounds like all the instruments were real, so it has that raw live feeling to it. The ending needs to be fixed though.

I love the idea with vox behind this song. It adds quite the depth in an otherwise epic song. If you can extend and make it less conservative, it will be well and truly accepted.

The verse is definitely mostly original, so I don't really think that this is too conservative at all...

This is a classic waiting to happen.

A bit of tightening up on the drum/vocal production and it's on the gravy train. The performances are all pretty legit.
