Speeeven
I'm not sure if anyone's posted about this (I didn't see anything on the front page), but I thought it'd be worth mentioning. Sending an email to groupbuy@flstudio.com with your name, email, and address gets us 50% on FL Studio and/or upgrades on December 20 . Me? I'm gonna upgrade from my old Fruity Edition to the Signature Bundle!!!

Ghetto Lee Lewis
After 9 years of piracy (besides that one time my wife/fiancee bought it and lost the cd key) I finally went and bought FL Studio Signature Bundle for $149. If you missed the group buy, you can still get in on the 50% off on all versions until Thursday.

It's normally $300, but around this group buy, it's $150.

Nabeel Ansari
Any program that comes with FL Slayer, they should pay YOU to acquire. o_o As if no other DAW doesn't have crappy default plug ins.

Brandon Strader
As if no other DAW doesn't have crappy default plug ins. Crappy DAWs have crappy default plugins.
Nabeel Ansari
Crappy DAWs have crappy default plugins. So crappy default plug ins belong to crappy DAWs. That means Pro Tools, Logic, Cubase, FL Studio, Reason, REAPER, Garageband, Sonar, Finale, ACID Pro, and Sibelius are all crappy DAWs. Sure they might have great plugins, but according to your logic, if it has just one crappy plug in, it's a crappy DAW.
Brandon Strader
Name the crappy plugins they have.. I haven't come across anything in Cubase 5 that isn't useful... and I can't think of another company that released anything as blasphemous and insulting as FL Slayer in their DAW
Dissidia
Didn't you just make this joke on other thread If I did, then it was unintentional Who cares if a daw has useless plugins. The most important thing is the work flow (how much you like making music in it). If you have all these shnazzy plugins but working in your DAW feels like running up a hill wearing rollerblades, then what's the point? (Not going to name my example, since it would only start flaming). The best plugins usually doesn't come with your DAW, you buy them to complement it. Ghetto Lee Lewis
I didn't realize how awful Slayer really was (even with extra soft amps) until I started using Shreddage last night (thanks Zircon). $50 of mega awesomeness if you use Kontakt. Almost every generator/sample can be crappy if you don't know how to use it. FL Studio has some wonderful tools like Wave Candy, numerous effects, and the easiest to use sequencer and automation tool I've ever seen. I quit using Cubase and Reason since I just couldn't get work done very quickly (not to mention Reason's drum samples are processed to death and hardly usable in a real mix; I also hate not being able to use VSTi's).
