Maybe look into later In Flames/Soilwork/Dark Tranquillity and deathcore bands like Born of Osiris, Aronists Get all the Girls, Winds of Plague or something like that. I pretty much hate all off those bands, minus In Flames and Soilwork's earlier stuff. DT is still decent. Whatever. Hopefully that's what you want. I'm done listening to shitty music...

While they don't have guitars to a hip hop beat; check out Machinae Supremacy if you don't know of them already. Power metal with SID chip synth melodies. Very, very cool stuff.

now that i read my OP i realize I'm not specific! I was wondering who else might do music in that style. I have been trying to find other artists in that fashion, but I don't know the genre. If you listen to the songs I posted you can get an idea of what I'm talking about.

Truthfully, I didn't even listen to the samples in the first post.

For the first song, you might want to check out Joe Satriani or Steve Vai. Fantastic instrumental guitarists who have songs in a similar vein as well as songs that are technical rock marvels.
