isitdinnertime? Posted July 28, 2011 Posted July 28, 2011 Uematsu-san is a genius! His music helped make Final Fantasy part of my childhood
melonman Posted July 28, 2011 Posted July 28, 2011 Please be me be me be me! Nothing like a shot at an Uematsu concert to catch my attention
lilaan Posted July 28, 2011 Posted July 28, 2011 <3 Nobuo Uematsu <3 Final Fantasy has been my favorite from the beginning
Ashix Posted July 29, 2011 Posted July 29, 2011 I just adore the FF IV, V, and VII albums - they are my preferred music while I work! I love the originals, and then I am amazed by the variation and life that the remixers bring to such lovely melodies. FFX and XII are good, they just aren't the same as the classics
Perigryn Posted July 29, 2011 Posted July 29, 2011 Just saw the show in Vancouver last night, and it was an incredible experience. I only wish I could've done the VIP and met the man himself... Still, seeing him perform was fabulous, as was joining in to sing along with 'One Winged Angel'! 'Aerith's Theme' definitely got me tearing up at first, too. I'm a manly man, I swear... haha. I hope everyone gets a chance to see this show. If you're a fan of Uematsu's work, you will have a memory to last a lifetime.

Liontamer Posted July 30, 2011 Author Posted July 30, 2011 We're going to interview Nobuo Uematsu THIS AFTERNOON! We're going to have Uematsu-san himself randomly pick the winner thanks to random.org! When we have our winner, we'll post who the lucky guy or gal is, so keep your eyes and ears peeled for this weekend!
Liontamer Posted July 31, 2011 Author Posted July 31, 2011 Uematsu-san was humble enough that he didn't want to decide the fate of the winner, so I've taken it upon myself to have a staff member use random.org to randomly select our winner. We've sent our email, so hopefully we hear back. If we don't by the end of Monday (EST), we draw a new winner.
