how do you humanize a pre-made midi in FL studio? because I made a midi in garageband and I can't figure out how to send it to the step sequencer(ex. the step sequencer turns up blank)

But messing with the Velocities of individual notes in the step sequencer, of course!

And yeah, I'm fairly positive you can do that in the demo version.

in the pattern editor there are tools, i forgot which one but u can def randomize it.

PS. first u have to import it into the pattern editor, perhaps u should make another topic about that...

For step sequencer humanizing there are presets under "Scores>Humanization" in the browser, for the piano roll you can mess with it by hand then use Scale Levels and randomization to get it to be the right range. Good luck!

Import the MIDI into FL Studio. It doesn't sound like you did that, because you say the "step sequencer comes up blank." And just for some clarification, the step sequencer isn't where you edit MIDI information. You edit MIDI information in the PIANO ROLL.

Go to the Piano Roll in FL Studio on the MIDI channel that you want and hit alt+Q. Select a template.
