Rukunetsu
Bare with me - I realize it's not as fleshed out as it could be, but it was just something quick I put together. Inspiration struck and this was the result; Hope it's enjoyable though. Ground Under Yoshi (SoundCloud)
Chris ~ Amaterasu
Very smooth stuff, enjoyed it! =)
metaphist
What you did with the intro is brilliant, but I can't discern any source in the next section (which is what should seem like the main sections, so yeah). There's not really much I can say beyond that. The groove is there, the direction you're taking it in is amazing, but I'd really like to hear some definite source in that main section. Pull this one together and there's no way it'd get NO'd in my book. That's the potential I see, definitely flesh it out.
Rukunetsu
Chris & Meta, thanks. And I will seriously consider fleshing this beat out indeed...
metaphist
BTW, Im about to put together some budget recording options for me and my boy's new group. He particularly liked this beat when he heard it, so we'll probably record some stuff over it when we get set up
Rukunetsu
Awesome! Glad to hear it Meta
Structures of Sound
Not really uber-familiar with the source. But I love what you've got going here! It's got a nice groovy feel that's enjoyable and easy to follow. So as far for style, I think you've got it down!
