The piano plays the same pattern over and over never once changing rhytmically and only rarely changing melodically. Most of the time the notes being played don't line up well with the bass and bells. In the same vein the things being layered on top of eachother are often completely unrelated and what results is a whole bunch of crowded cacophony.
