From a personal opinion, NiGHTS is a far far FAR better game

Sonic Adventure 2 can be fun at parts, but other parts are .. ugh :/ Its a longer game than NiGHTS, but not sure if you want it to be.

Also, they have stupid paid DLC for SA2 HD for the "Battle" extra stuff they added to the GCN version.

My problem is that I'm pretty nostalgic about Sonic Adventure 2, particularly the splitscreen Battle multiplayer. Sucks that it's 5$ extra DLC, but I used to love playing it with my friends.

Maybe I'll go for NIGHTS for now and wait until they drop the price with SA2.

I do but nobody seems to listen.

And NiGHTS has aged far better than SA2, namely because of the gameplay aesthetics being more timeless in NiGHTS. It's absolutely worth the money, and doesn't have any of that DLC bullhonkey right now.
