Slimtoad
I live in the Upper Midwest and just heard about classes that teach ProTools. Is it worth it?
zylance
Well, that depends if you want to learn protools.
OverCoat
Well, that depends if you want to learn protools. Pretty much. And when you DO learn how to use it... ... do you want to pay for it?
tgfoo
do you want to pay for it? ProTools LE isn't that expensive. Only $500 for an MBox. Now a ProTools HD system on the other hand....
Yoozer
Depends on the quality of the teacher, really. Asking if a course is good without any details about payment, staff, or whatever is rather pointless. If you don't have ProTools or don't plan to buy it it doesn't really make sense anyway. Tekknique
With protools either you love it or hate it. And it's ALWAYS expensive to upgrade. Plugin wise and computer wise. Also, Protools really isn't for production, maybe more so than before but it's best for mixing.
