timaeus222 Posted April 22, 2013 Share Posted April 22, 2013 I actually think the first pad is a bit abrasive and static (and maybe a little dry). I can barely hear the arp in the background. It's a good ambient remix, but there really isn't much expansion on the source other than in the drums (which are actually a bit loop-like). Either that, or the melody is too obscured/non-complex. Sampled the actual track, worked it a touch and added the drums/ additional accompaniment. Suffice to say, there's not much of a melody as a result. Grateful for the feedback and will definitely take note.
