Benjaipod
I recorded this like 3 months ago, its an acoustic version of Corridors of time. There's like 4 guitars in it, all played by me... do you think its good enough to submit it?? Or maybe is not what Ocremix is looking for? https://soundcloud.com/benjaipod/chrono
Argle
Well it seems pretty close to the original, so the judges would prolly ding you for that. As far as production goes, lots of boominess going on. You need to get in there with an EQ and really chisel out those low mids. The timing seems off in places as well. Nice concept, reminds me of the beginning of Zealous Entropy. Needs some mix and editing work.
Necrox
Agree about the mixing and closeness to original. I personally found the clicky percussion sound strange. You're probably trying to do something different in terms of percussion, but I just was not a fan of that sound (and it's a source of that boominess that was mentioned). An acoustic remix of this song is a cool concept (the melody really works on acoustic guitars), and I think it could be pulled off with some more work. timaeus222
Yep, arrangement is too close to the original. You even have the same little gliss in the beginning.
