Killjoy
So I see this forum is set up to use avatars from a bank of available images hosted here rather than custom user-uploaded/hotlinked ones Are there restrictions on who may use what? And if so, is there a way to see which ones are already in use? I searched the FAQ and didn't find my answers there
Melbu Frahma
If it's in the bank, it's fair game, AFAIK. Never seen anything to indicate otherwise.
Killjoy
Yeah, that's kinda what I was thinking, just don't wanna step on anybody's toes
Liontamer
If we switch forums (not for a long while), we may allow customs ones. So you're limited to what's there. But there are 1000+ avatars, so hopefully something will stand out that you'd like.
Killjoy
Oh, there's definitely some good ones on here. Just wanted to make sure there wasn't some procedure for "claiming" one that I didn't know about Will browse later, dinner's just about ready
Mirby
Yeah, you can get custom avatars if you've done stuff for the site or been posted or other things I'm not sure of, but they still have to follow the same guidelines as normal ones. But like Larry said, there's over 1000. Something should work.
timaeus222
You can get a custom avatar if you ask Larry and you're a posted remixer, but it would have to be 32x32, GIF, and good quality.
