Necrox Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 This time, write a song only using one note (all D or all G# for example). All octaves are allowed, detuning other notes and using them is not allowed, and atonal sounds are allowed in any way you desire. Quote
timaeus222 Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 Technically you can retune drums. Does this assume that drums are atonal, or no retuning for drums? Quote

timaeus222 Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 Did this in about an hour and a half. Fun little experiment on a C note with reverbed percussion and using FM to sweep through overtones (distinct tones, but only through moving an FM depth knob). I even tuned the percussion to match the key. =P https://app.box.com/s/v9qe5yrs469x9qrupv2g2twqkfbbtud6 Necrox 1 Quote
