The Damned Posted December 22, 2015 Share Posted December 22, 2015 It's not bad at all, but the thing that OCR likes more variety and style when it comes to the source material. Try mixing the base melody up a bit more. Maybe add some some sort of background that accompanies it. It's a good start, now just expand upon it. I can see it going places. Skrypnyk Posted December 26, 2015 Share Posted December 26, 2015 It's so jarring having that intro with the bombastic electro sound, and then cutting to something more soft and laid back. This suffers from a lack of ideas and heavy reliance on loops. There's no personalization, no real creativeness in this. The synths are all pretty bland, the drum loop is repetitive, there is no ending, I'm not sure where The Damned sees this going (maybe as some sort of sunshine island theme?) but you're gonna have to do some massive work on everything in this to get it there.
