KungFuFurby06Edition
I wonder how to extract a SFPack without a Windows emulator, and without a commercial program... Any avalible?
suzumebachi
step 1.) bend over, put your head between your legs. step 2.) pucker up. step 3.) ??????????? step 4.) profit in other words, you are screwed. the creators of SFPack pretty much disappeared off the face of the planet. and to the best of my knowledge, nobody has tried to pick up after them. so that leaves SFPack a pretty much dead format. Anorak
Why not send the pack to a PC user with SFPack and ask them to send you back the SF2s?
KungFuFurby06Edition
Oh well... I tried.
Patrick Burns
you've got to have a friend with a PC and CD burner somewhere. just burn the sfpack program and sfpacks to a cd, take it to a PC, decompress everything, burn everything back onto a CD
programmer-in-training
I can do it for you, just email me the SFPacks and I'll email you the SF2s.
Patrick Burns
Look how many views this thread has. Has the popularity of this forum declined that much in the past year and a half?
analoq
This thread was probably migrated from phpbb, maybe the views were calculated differently. Or maybe more people browse old threads than thought (p-i-t certainly found it) Or, yeah, there's likely less interest in this forum than there was before. A bummer if true, since this is the only part of the whole site I frequent.
programmer-in-training
I found this thread from Google by accident! If anyone needs help with SFPack archives, I'd be glad to help.
KungFuFurby06Edition
Now that wasn't expected! I'm still here after all these years, but it's been a while since I've found a sfpack file that I've been intrested in. Sorry. However, still, that's nice that you're intrested in extracting sfpack files.
Tobia
This thread is the first Google result for "sfpack osx" Just a quick note on what I believe is the best (free) solution, if you have an Intel mac: - install wine and winebottler http://winebottler.kronenberg.org/ - download sfpack for windows http://www.personalcopy.com/sfpack.htm - extract the zip file - launch winebottler - create custom prefix - choose the sfpack.exe file - check "copy only" - click Install - when it's done, locate the newly created SFPack.app - ctrl+click, show package contents - navigate to Contents/Resources/drive_c/winebottler - copy over the DLL and CHM files from the original sfpack zip - launch SFPack.app - profit
