Hey guys.

I've been fiddling around with some sequencers/samplers for a while and I came up with this little arrangement of To Zanarkand for Marimba. It's more of a software/hardware test than anything, because I wanted to see what I could do with the software I had available. Let me know what you think, any ideas towards improvement are welcome and appreciated.

Yes, definitely extend it, and a background string accompaniment would be a great addition. An example would be if you listen to the song on the moonflow, you will recognize it as this song remixed by Nobou. It demonstrates what I mean.

OH yeah.....

I would like to play this live....I'm a pro percussionist and I'm searching for this kinda stuff.

Maybe even record it for you....?????huh huh huh?????

Well...I think I'll have to skip some notes though because I only use 4 sticks....ah what ever!!! :)

Let me know what you think, maybe you could send me midi file or something.

It's very one dimensional as it stands, very few mixes can pull that off. You could make it very interesting by bringing in background lines. Perhaps an african drum beat at about 16 seconds. Maybe throw in a didgeridoo. Or a strings background would work well.
