Sonic & Knuckles PC Collection question

The music in this game comes in either MIDI or FM Synthesizer format. I can find the MIDI versions online but does anyone know where I can find the FM synth tracks? (which I think sound much better)

I'd advise you to go download the relevant Genesis soundtrack here: http://www.zophar.net/gym/

That will be the most authentic recreation you'll get. Between this and the MIDI, you should be able to transcribe what you need for a base.

Also, I'm pretty sure he's looking for the music from the PC version, which as I understand it, had different music from the console version.

Only the MIDI tracks are different in the PC version (and then different only for Carnival Night, Ice Cap, and Launch Base): The FM synth tracks are exactly the same as heard on the Genesis.

I ripped the FM set 6 years ago now... The GM set was ripped by some random.
