Dyne
Does anyone have any idea where I could find a good freeware or shareware FTP program? I want to be able to upload to my web server (though it's comcast, I still need the abilty to do so). Any ideas?
Gollgagh
SmartFTP's always done it for me.
Yoshi3gg
I use Filezilla, it seems to get the job done.
Necrotic
I used to use SmartFTP, but I found myself not even coming close to using a quarter of the features it offered. It's very robust and has a clean interface. I ended up settling for FileZilla... which is way tiny in file size and takes a fraction of the time to load up and get my files uploaded in 5 seconds and close it again. Simplicity. It's been said... but it gets the job done, it's just that may not be what you're looking for if you need something a little more powerful. Those two options are what I prefer. I've also used CuteFTP but I'm not really sure what it can do that the other two options won't have going for you. Do you still have to pay for this even? I dunno. Dyne
Very good suggestions guys. I'll probably go with Filezila, only because of its ease of use as Necrotic pointed out. It doesn't need to be rocket science, I'm only uploading to a web server, and occasionally cleaning out the archives.
