I need someone to recommend a good program to help me piece together bits of voice so I can do a few a capella covers. It doesn't need to any sound synthesizing. That's really all. It's not mixing, but there's nowhere else on the forums to post about it.

This has a lot to do with mixing, actually. Try Audacity.

Covers aren't terribly hard to do, I've got a couple under my belt.

Audacity works well, because you can import a track as a referrence, mute it, remove it, etc. Similarly, you get a nice visual image of the voices so you can line stuff up easily.

lol those ruled. You are going to have to use an artificial pitch raiser to achieve some of those chipmunk sounds he was doing. Autotune or melodyne would help insanely unless you have serious chops as a singer for doing multiple part harmonies in tune. You can also sample yourself in tune at various points like every half octave and then stretch as needed to other notes.
