orkybash
Remixed By: FFmusic Dj. Game: Final Fantasy 7 Track: Corel Prison Original Composer: Nobuo Uematsu My vote is yes, BTW. Besides the fact that the title is a bit misleading, I really can't find much to criticize here. All the elements fit well, and the arranging is pretty good. Especially nice job blending original stuff into the corel prison theme.
Joe Redifer
The opening is weird, but in a good sort of way. FFMusicDJ is usually of high quality, so a "yes" vote is a no-brainer here. Despite remixing primarily FF themes, FFMusicDJ is in the top 12 of my favorite remixers on the site. OK maybe top 10.
m68030
It's ffmusicdj Haroon. Duh. post this and quit pestering us. /me goes to rave.
Saunders
OMG this song is sooo crappy, I wouldn't feed this to my dog, can you believe this pile of excrement? Oh wait, that's one of my mixes. *switches to String Machine* Ahh, much better. FFMusicDJ comes through with the usual. Professional sounding technoey [Who needs specific genres.] goodness. This is, as Joe said, a no brainer.
Malcos
Never heard ffmusicdj before, nice sounding, and does sound quite professional. I might have to listen to some of his other stuff I vote yes. BIG BUT: Is it me, or is there a 5MB limit that this mix blatantly breaks? Or am I waaaay behind?
Antonio Pizza
Damn damn damn! I couldn't remember what Corel Prison sounded like and my PSX is in VG hell. Who cares? Post it. yupyupyupyupyupyupyupyupyup
Joe Redifer
Actually the limit is 6 MB I believe, and right now it sits at 6.7 megs. Perhaps encoding this at 160kbps instead of 192 would result in an appropriate size. I keeping the 192kbps version for myself, though!
Saunders
I'm gonna go ahead and lock this thread as it's obviously going up.
orkybash
There's a 128 kbit version on... that other site. It's well below the filesize limit.
Joe Redifer
You know what's interesting? Since we're all moderators we can post in locked forum threads. I guess that kind of defeats the purpose of locking them. You don't even have to unlock first. Try!
orkybash
I think it's more of a housekeeping thing, so we know which remixes have already been voted on.
Saunders
What? Hey that's cool. No need for me to unlock threads for my 2 cents now.
Disco Dan
I clicked on the "Locked" icon and I got a reply board. I like this song but I have no idea what the original sounds like. Really good quality, and the mixer seems to have some semblance of musical training behind him. I'm gonna vote no, though, just because you all voted yes. No real reason, I still think it should get posted, but at 6 to 1, it doesn't really matter. So I say no. DC
