how do I turn automation clips into pattern clips?

I know how to turn pattern clips into automation clips but how do I do the reverse. I looked all over the FL help and didn't see anything except for pattern to automation, not the other way around.

automation clips and pattern clips are 2 completely different things. I think you need to reword your question.

o yea I meant the piano roll event editor. Sorry for the confusion.

if you're asking how you get a pattern clip to appear in the bottom part of the play list, click the pattern you want to appear, and then click the bottom part of the play list.

say I right clicked on a knob and clicked edit events in piano roll. Then I converted that data to an automation clip. Is there any way to convert back to the piano roll?
