  1. "Don't Change" by INXS would be way better. Or maybe, if you're looking for novelty value,
  2. Tried it... precision platforms in a game where touching an arrow key causes him to go really slow to really fast make for a design flaw. Still, it's free, so what do I care.
  3. I've gotten chills from music before, even though a lot of it was really shitty. Like Oh, Oh, Oh, Sexy Vampire. And Party 4u (holy nite mix) And Live and Learn. And You're Not Me from the Yu-Gi-Oh movie. I'm a moron.
  4. http://ocw.mit.edu/OcwWeb/web/home/home/index.htm Lecture notes and homework assignments for over 1800 courses, FOR FREE! HELL yes! Some of them even use electronic textbooks, so you don't even have to buy one. Yeah, you don't get credit or whatever, but it's still fascinating and useful and AWESOME.
  5. Video games are most certainly art. Hell, my calculus homework was art. It might be shitty art, it might have no "artistic merit," but it's art because it's not just a matter of "plug in X, receive Y." The only things that aren't really art are those weird programs where there is exactly 1 answer such as "10 PRINT "Hello world!" 20 GOTO 10," and even that's debatable. Anything that requires any creativity is art. Not necessarily great art, but it's still art.
  6. You know, Live and Learn is actually a ludicrously musically robust song. It's just hard to get around the ATROCIOUS lyrics. They dropped it from a five-star song to a one-star song on my Zune (now at the bottom of Lake Austin, RIP NEVAH FOGGIT) BTW, that wasn't exactly 8-bit. I don't think they can load more than 3 different sounds on any one MIDI, and certainly not at once.
  7. Good god. Why so serious? I'm just having a good time, taking the internet for a ride. I wouldn't KILL anyone over it. Geez, just keep your internet life and real life separate.
  8. Hallelujah, a good suggestion, and no one has flat out disagreed ITT yet (I THINK) And yeah, no one says things have to fall into exactly one genre. Just rock, classical, electronic, jazz, whatevs. With maybe "fast" and "slow" or "vocal" and "instrumental" options.
  9. I'm seeing your mom naked in bed tonight. ... I'm sorry, that was bad. Almost as bad as this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=79qke9GIfXs
  10. My other computer's busted so here
  11. http://www.projectabraham.com/ Ugh. This is a PS3 game. Am I missing something? Does anyone see anything other than pure crap here? Umm... oh. Apparently it's Resistance 2. Now I feel dumb. But yeah... what's with the live action and horrible acting? It's like they just said "Okay, act ANGRY if you have a penis and act DRAMATIC if you're that one chick who DOES NOT WANT."
  12. If you're going to San Francisco, be sure to wear some flowers in your hair.
  13. To a certain extent, it does. I'm probably considered "not great," though, so I'm not one to talk. For me, the fun comes mostly from the feeling of moving fast (I'm normally pretty slow so this is sort of unusual for me) and the achievement of doing well and that comes primarily from difficulty.
