  1. OCR monetizing mixes on YouTube

I agree that this is a slippery slope. I understand that you need money to run a site, but in my experience (I'm an IT guy too) website operation costs are almost always overestimated (you admitted yourself that there is a surplus). I can tell you right off the bat that this makes me less likely to submit music in the future. I believe in being upfront with the people who produce the content, and this was not upfront at all. The fact that you have to justify your actions (to me) means You should have let everyone know. That's my issue here. If your justification works now it should have worked in a more upfront manner. This was not an experiment. Everyone who has submitted content here feels like they have a little stake in the site. Pointing to a policy is something Microsoft would do. I know I haven't submitted much here, but I would like to see more openness about things like this. Otherwise I might as well just stick to my soundcloud channel when it comes to posting remixes. Then again when it comes down to it djpretzel owns the site and can do whatever he wants. From the looks of the posts only recourse is to move on if I disagree.
  2. I'd like to do something with "Julius Belmont: Don't Wait Until Night a.k.a. Can't Wait Until the Night" if it is still available.
  3. Final Fantasy III (Finish Song or Risk Being Cut)

I will definitely have something for you, sir.
  4. Final Fantasy III (Finish Song or Risk Being Cut)

I don't really have any strong ideas for the song yet. I'm somewhere between prog rock opera and epic mega rap battle right now, haha. I'm VERY open to collaboration though. It should be fun!
  5. Final Fantasy III (Finish Song or Risk Being Cut)

Excuse me, Mr. Strader... do you mind if I take a crack at Last Battle?
  6. My apologies about this Brandon. I kind of checked out of OCRemix for awhile after I finished my FF3 Track. It is back on my list.
  7. That is awesome. Thanks! I won't let you down!
  8. I actually totally forgot about this. Feel free to reopen my track(s). I'll try to get a wip to you next month. IF someone else claims before then, I guess i'll just throw it on my soundcloud, ha. Sorry.
  9. That sounds great. I will be in contact VERY soon!
  10. I would really REALLY like to collab with a female vocalist and remix "My Sweet Passion." It looks like it is also in Sonic Adventure 2 so would that work? If not I'll look for something else. Figured I would at least ask... My second choice is City Escape.
  11. Final Fantasy III (Finish Song or Risk Being Cut)

also, can i get access to the project forum? thanks!
  12. Final Fantasy III (Finish Song or Risk Being Cut)

  13. Final Fantasy III (Finish Song or Risk Being Cut)

Is "My Home Town" still available? if so sign me up.
