I've always loved the original version of the song, but a while back I found a funk cover with a nice bass groove. The problem is that it's only a small section of the song, and I haven't found a full version anywhere. Obviously I'd want you to make it your own instead of copying, but it would be awesome if somebody could make a full version of the song with a similar vibe. I've been listening to the original Lavender Town theme lately, and I've been thinking about how amazing it would be to hear a ragtime piano version of it. The original song (if you need a refresher or haven't heard it before) is here: And the idea that I've been envisioning would be similar to this guy's (Martin Spitznagel) rendition of a Mario medley, found here: I would try and play it myself, but I'm pretty musically challenged, so I figured I would post my idea here and see if anybody out there would be interested in making it a reality.
