not sure about a name... hmmm you do intend to make it a tad bit longer, don't you? maybe you could add a slow, quiet orchestral intro before the detache comes in. also, the begining of the source material is in c dorian mode, perhaps you could stick an F# in there and play around on the blues scale w/ your trumpet (very nice addition, btw).

*outsider's opinion* I think a soprano sax would fit in nicely there.

Fantastic! This project is really coming together. Is it just me, or do some of analoq's remixes sound right out of the Ocean's 11 soundtrack? Maybe it's just the funky bassline. Anyway.. this kirby fan is loving it.

I like it. I really love the lead synth, and, in general, a slower speed works well for it. If it were my mix, however (keeping in mind how little experience I have), I would bump up the tempo a few notches. The way it is now, it took me a while to remember the melody. Don't speed it up too much, though, because at this speed you could add some really nice improvisations. Very creative title.
