Sig seems fine size-wize, but then again, my sig's even bigger, so what do I know.

Welcome StuMan, Vaughn, Hanpusu-kun, and all the other newcomers.
Don't be afraid of big topics. Most of it is dated, irrelevent stuff anyways. Just skim a few pages, then read the last page or so of the thread and you'll be fine.
Also, as usual, be wary of UnMod. It's a little different from the rest of the forum and definately not for everyone. Lurk there for a while to get used to how it's like down there, else you might make a fool of yourself and be flamed to a crisp.
Anyway, welcome all and enjoy your stay. And remember, it's all about having fun.

Or even worse, UnMod. Those poor souls are rarely ever heard from again. Now let us bow our heads, for a moment of silence and remember what's his face, that one guy, and self-pic chick.
Seriously though, UnMod can be fun, if you lurk around a bit and get an understanding of how things work down there. Believe me, it's totally different from any other part of the forum. Some quotes that'll help explain what I mean:

Naw, UnMod's not so bad, as long as you keep in mind the ever prevalent sarcasm and don't take things too seriously, it'll be alright.
But still, it's recommended to lurk more to get a feel for things.

Well that Mp3 recording thing might be tough because...i-i...i'm...a-a a COMPUTER AUDIO NOOB!! alright i admit it im a audio newb! i dont know anything about recording, remixing and actually i know very little of the technical stuff in music!!
lol...oh well thats the reason i cant do any recording of audio files in my PC or getting my voice clip into an mp3 file... Im lucky to be able to handle my iPod...i dont even know how do burn a damn CD!
If you have a microphone, just download and install Audacity, hit the record button, and there ya go. Then just export as MP3 and you're all set.

Don't worry about it. We all make rookie mistakes.
Just clean up that spelling and grammar like Silens (or WingsOfTime, whatever his name is now) said and you'll do alright.

Combine the three images into one larger picture in any editing software. Voila!
Yeah, just make sure they're saved as either .PNG or .GIF and not .JPG, so you can keep a transparent background. But seeing as how one of them has animation, your best bet would be .GIF.

Since I doubt the UnMod thread will be of much help to you after those threads you made, go into the Ye Olde Sig Shoppe and just request it there. Waiting time will vary depending on what it is you want and who does it.
If you'd rather not wait, get a generic sig at the Sig Shoppe.

Exactly. Nobody expects you to type with perfect grammar, but at least stop using abbreviations and substitutes for words, like 4 instead of for, r instead of are. You get the idea.

Welcome, but just like I told pumahawk on the previous page, proper spelling and grammar go a long way around here. This is a forum, not a chat room, so you have all the time in the world to go over your post for any errors it may contain.

Just to give you fair warning, proper spelling and grammar go a long ways around here. Like I said in my post above, people get flamed whenever they post with bad spelling and grammar. Of course, a few typos are bound to happen. Those are no big deal. Just try to avoid using AIM/leet speak and don't forget to use that shift key and you'll do fine.

Excellent. The forum will love you for it. Many a noob have been flamed for improper spelling and grammar, especially in UnMod.
And before you get to work on that avatar, just be aware that OCR doesn't allow custom avatars. You're stuck with the ones in the gallery. Sigs are, obviously, okay.

Well, you'd be mostly right.
That was not the implication, but the analogy still stands as bizarrely accurate.
I wonder what that makes me. I try to help when I can, but I also enjoy the occasional n00b shiving.

Two: Your font size is a bit small. The color is fine, but change your font size to normal. People will love you this way.
Actually, the color tends to attract some unwanted attention. Not so much in General (I haven't seen it, but then again, It's not my main hangout at OCR), but definately in UnMod.
Anyway, seeing as the Adopt-a-Noob thread is pretty much dead as far as attention goes, I'd be more than happy to extend my services to this thread. If you have any questions regarding the forum, feel free to contact me via PM or any of the chat devices listed below and I'll try my best to clear up any confusion there may be. Ah, lurking. How I'm glad I never really did that.
Not that you new kids shouldn't try lurking as well. It can be a very educational experience and give you a feel of how the forums work, thus resulting in less chance of attracting flames. Postwhoring will only lead to trouble. Trust me.
Anyway, welcome and have fun newblets. Hopefully you won't run into too much trouble in out there, especially the big, bad, scary UnMod.

Graphical listing of the characters on first page
It's off topic, but I think the collective juxtapositioning of the characters like what Shnabubula did on the first page will make a cool background.

Joyzilla made one several months ago, but several characters have been added since, and it is out of date.
P.S. The title of this thread makes me laugh for some reason.

I have trouble keeping track of all of the sigs. And what do you guys think of putting this thread or a thread similar in gendisc? I think popularity would increase quite a bit. I don't mean the sig request thread, I mean the sig_shoppe. I feel bad about flooding this thread in the first place. Let me know what you all think. I don't want to create another pointless thread to be locked or ignore in gendisn. Mods have enough to worry about.
Not that I have much say in this, but I think a new thread might be a good idea.
P.S. Silo turned out to be Hazardous's alt.

I'd like to request a sig. I'd like it to be of a country side from a game with like a windmill somewhere. And then I want it to say SiloGamer in blurry letters somewhere.
Also, if someone wants to make it extra special, could you make it a gif where a few flowers move back and forth in the wind? This isn't necessary, but it would be sweet. Thanks in advance.
From a few pages back, for those interested in doing something (not mine btw. Just a request that fell between the cracks from all the advertising).

I'm sure it'd be fine. Sig makers need all the help they can get. There's also a sig request thread in UnMod, if you're interested.
