i dont mix, so i dont have ne comment on these technical aspects... but i thought this was a really cool piece. the bass line was pretty funky and that was what made it enjoyable. hey, i liked it. give it a try edit: oh yeah.. i didnt really like the ending too much. maybe a bang ending woulda been better... i dunno, maybe u tried it but it didnt work. anyway, keep it coming!

heh, drums are from "that song" but i think it fits nicely. i agree, beginning is a little slow, but well done.

a classic mcvaffe.. at first i used to discriminate against games i never played.. but after hearing this, i picked up djp's mixes too and decided that actraiser music is pretty good =) anyway, this mix is another excellent execution by mcv with the traditional (for mcv anyway) percussion solo, which is always a good touch in my opinion.

smoooth stuff. laid back and jazzy... i like it =)

love it. positively delightful. i actually laughed from the opening.. caught me by surprise, cause i was listening to some dark stuff (ffmusicdj, corelprisonmix) its reallllly interesting, but i have only one complaint. the ending... fades out with some crackling. i dunno, its alright, but id rather not have it =X however, the main part itself was what counts, and that stuff is alllll good =) gj and keep the good stuff coming. Highly Recommended

didnt really fall into my genre =\ normally i enjoy mcv, but i didnt really like this one too much

i think it moved tooooo slow for me. the 2nd half was pretty decent, but that slow start really got to me =\ otherwise, i think the piece had some nice elements to it. i was feeling *dark*-ish after listening to that new lufia piece on repeat forever, so this kinda slipped in there. nice touch.. wasn't exceptional, but i cant say i didnt like it.

oh man i was waiting for this thread to open up... it took too long i think this is a woooooonderful piece. i loooove it. 3:00 has a nice vibrophone-ish (i dunno what it is =X) section, good stuff. all transitions are smoooth. hmm nothings wrong w/ this mix (ooh except i think the transition into the ending is a little abrupt. the ending itself is alright). this prob goes into my top 5, AMAZING JOB FAZE!

i did not enjoy this mix either. i rather would like it if it stayed a little more true to the original songs.

hey i liked this song another trancy piece, if u enjoyed 'blindisdahbomb' i think u'll enjoy this. the flute may be a touch loud, but it is taking the melody, so its alright, doesnt take away from the experience. i dont know bout that vibrato, i think it sounds ok with all the gracenote-ish things... (sry bout the non-technical terms again =X) nice little change at 2:15, keeping the trancy feel. gooood mix, something im gonna be listening to to relax

nice, ive been waiting for more dkc2 mixes ever since u announced that ud be doing the whole st =) another great piece, i personally enjoy orchestral a lot. there are 2 'sections' i guess to this piece, i dont know how to describe them. but i gotta say that 2nd section i enjoyed very much. very.. pleasant, ambient i guess. great job! whoaaa 3 sections haha, kinda goes back to the original theme w/ trumpets and drums. nicely done. i think that no spaces would be better, but other people might think otherwise. again, great job

hum first ~30 sec are a bit too complicated for me. but it picks up nicely. love the sax as well, reminds me of my jazz band saxophonist heh. love the melody at those section. i think to enjoy this, u gotta keep listening throughout the song. give it a chance. nicely done!

technoish feel, which i happen to like. i dont think the beginning is that odd =\ it kinda sets up the tone for a bit. love the instruments as well. nicely done. i like that high note that repeats on and on for a bit (um sry for the non-technical terms =X) change of pace @ 1:30. i woulda prefered that original tune a little bit more =) its quite catchy. the last 2:30 goes to a trancy feel, which is good

i like it =) on the contrary to what ginnsu says about 1:54, i think its a nice dynamic change. gives a nice feel, enjoyable, maybe a little surprising if u didnt expect it. i love all the 'feel' changes, changing tempo many times. i havent heard the original song but it sounds nicely done. good work! 8.8/10

damn i love this mix... i think its great! some quick goodies i think... i think the sample @ 0:33 is just amazing.. sounds kinda like the chu-chu rocket voice sample. fits great i think =) another great thing is the way A Scholar & A Physician just does everything so smoothly. special recognition to 1:07-1:17 i think that part owns. such smoothness overall i think its a great mix. might not flow into other people's genre's, but if ur into this, u'll like it 9.5/10 oh yeah.... the fact that AS&AP actually puts all this nonense into a song is a definite +
