Small Update: I already got a hard disk for my keyboard, and I also ordered 1GB of RAM for it. When the RAM arrives, I can create a disco drum set for it, change some of the instruments to newer (and better) ones and record everything A good thing is that it's 100% backwards compatible to my old one so everything sounds the same right now (except better EQs, better filtering, better DSP effects, added master compression and stuff) - but I would really like to put some more work into it to make it sound even better with the possibilities of my new model ^-^

Good question here, and I say, the style should somehow fit the original tune/the game's setting, so a wide range would be fine. But, tell me, what would you have in mind for a genre on what track? ^-^

If they are 100% quantized they sound boring. Try to select every 4 of them and move them back and forth (only a tiny bit) until it makes your head bang, repeat with others, too until you got the desired effect.

Since I had work to compose music for a $200.000 TV production, some plugin problems with the upcoming MacOS X 10.4.6 upgrade, and am undergoing a MAJOR keyboard upgrade right now, I haven't been able to do much in the recent time. The project being delayed added to this slacking period, but I think it will be over as soon as I got my new hardware setup up, running and got accustomed to it. I want to say I am sorry for that, and this does not at all mean I don't want to finish this. I have already done a track on this one and no one will stop me finishing the last 2% of the second one, with notable improvement in sound quality as a compensation for the waiting time. I now got the same series keyboard I had before but two generations newer Expect something great in the near future!

EDIT: OK, because this is a very ambituous project we will give you some more time. A lot of people seem to be quite busy, too. The next WIP due date will be 12th of June. Let's hope the people who didn't come back to me or Zak will give me notice about their status on their songs, this time there are some possible removals from the project, be warned On the other hand, I will try to contact as many people as possible myself, so let's see how this will work out.

Have you tried to sign up again? I don't know but hackers attacked the server again some time ago, maybe it has to do with them. You should also try and contact Zak on this one, as he is mainly responsible for the forums.

hmm...haven't seen Claado Shou and Soraya either... and they are on the SD3 project, as well, means I also need to talk to them... seems like they are gone :/

Wow, you are back! Glad to hear from you! I heard that horrible things happened to you so I am overjoyed you are back here! You know, the most important thing is not the project, but that you are fine and healthy, but you worked on the song, as well! You didn't have to, since there is still a large timeframe until the project is to be finished, but it's great anyway. Thanks a bunch!

Is Sinewav still on for track 1-02? A few pages ago he said he wouldn't be able to do it and I don't think I've seen anything from him since then. -steve I PMed him and he told me he still wants to do the tracks he chose, and that he will most certainly collab with MaliceX on this project.

Hey, great stuff so far! I totally dig your jazzy style. The piano sound is not exactly what it could be like, but hey, it's still a WIP, so don't worry too much about that now. The important thing is that you have your idea worked out, and it sounds pretty solid so far! Keep it up man! This said, I also have not-so-good news. A lot of people have jumped off right now, which leads to a staggering 5 songs to be taken right now. Let's hope replacement will come soon

Sounds good, thanks a lot, Rexy! Still, there are a ton of other people I need to talk to ASAP. I will not publish the list here for now, because I will try to get a hold of them myself for now. It seems like people are pretty busy these days or forgot about the project, which is definitely NOT a good thing. Reminder: The WIP deadline was yesterday. There are some people where I can make an exception for not reporting back, especially people that are pretty new here or some who are busy with their work on SoS right now, because this project gets to its end pretty soon. I can fully understand that they want to devote their whole attention there, but please at least keep it in the very back of your head that there is also another project that depends on you. Yes, you OK, enough said for now, I hope I can PM as many people as possible to take them from this list before I will publish it here. There might be some people taken off this project now in case I can't get a hold of them now.

Oh, good to see this thread. I didn't know about it being posted here, and I am rather surprised I thought is was some secret project song that will be released together with the project... oh, well I am at least glad to see it now and read through the comments, which seem to reflect a lot of positive feedback. Thanks, folks! hmm... these bagpipes are not my fault, I would have had better ones, so don't blame me here (as seen later in this thread)
