But after one day, even with violent use that is pathetic.

That is exactly what happened. No, both the joy sticks are now dead on it. Kinda like what the N64 had going for it you know. Stick is just dead and flaccid.

Ok the GameStamp where I work finally got a Wii U demo kiosk in, and I did get to play it. It was demoing Rayman Legends and was a lot of fun. However I would like to bring into question of durability, as the tablet controller is now broken, but a day after it was setup.

Alas poor X-play, ye shall always have a special place. Granted I lost interest in the show after they ditched the booming voice guy.

Runs in, and actually is are two very different things. My Borderlands 2 on my PC is actually in 1080p. All console games currently run at a lower res and are upscaled, not making them true HD.
-
Are we sure that the games are actually HD, or are they upscaled like the rest of the consoles?

CoD wont take time off cause Activision knows that people are stupid. The Madden of FPS's is their best selling IP, so they dont give a damn.

That too, is a good prospect.

Just get it on another console a week earlier.

Once upon a time Nintendo tried something new. Luigi's Mansion is a great example of them trying something new, as well as Paper Mario. Both excellent games that tried to break the normal formula. But now Nintendo gets a free ride as far as innovation is concerned. No one seems to care that they just dont try anymore. Because the release a waggle stick that doesn't work well or a gimped tablet pc that more than likely wont work very well, Nintendo gets to ride on the way of stupid customers shelling out there money because they don't know or care to know. Much like Squeenix has lost their way with development, Nintendo seems to be phoning it in. If that is what they want to do, that is fine. I just really hate that they are going that way. And no, I don't hate Nintendo. Gamecube was my favorite system from that cycle, and my 3DS gets a lot of play. I hate they the have become complacent.

And then sales dropped off sharply cause no one wanted theirs anymore cause it had at best 15 worthy games for it. A PC actually allows people to view Nintendo games in 1080P, thanks to the miracle of Emulation. So PC beat Nintendo to it. Go figure. You can build a good PC for the cost of a new 360 or PS3, you just have to be informed and frugal. So when I give an opinion it's trolling. I am not here offering my two cents to solicit fanboy rage. Unless that is what is happening with you, which seems the case as you are raging pretty hard. If the mood of the thread is "Love the WiiU but if you dont than you are a troll," then wow have you got your priorities messed up. To your argument that everything looks the same. Yeah they do. Hoever FF3 and FF4 are completely different games as they tried something new via the battle system. Halo 2 and 3 are the same game no matter how you slice it. Mario games are the same no matter how you slice them. Adding on new block and one new powerup is not a substantial enough change to warrant excitement. That being said sometimes change is bad. Hotel Mario etc. I want a Mario that tries something new beyond it's safe zone. Nintendo can do it. The Prime Trilogy is proof their IP's can "Grow up" I've been saying that but Crowbar seems to not get it. I agree, but it was all done through PC emulation. I need you to cite resources please.

It does make a lot of sense from a business standpoint. Sucker a bunch of stupid people into buying a new gimmicky system. What's gonna happen is that a year down the line, they are gonna start coming in droves to sell it back to Gamestamp. It'll be the Wii all over again, only it will take half as long for everyone to wisen up.

Because games that are dev'd on the 360 or PS3 dont run in 1080p without scaling. Nintendo is going to be no different. All of it's games will actually be in a lower res upscaled to HD. WiiU is only doing what the bigger kids on the block did 6 years ago. Upscaling can and does make a game look better. I have had several moments on my PC where the desktop puts out 1080P, but a game I am playing is in a default low res. The game looks like shit. Perhaps this is a bad example but the same basic concept applies. It artificially make a console game look better. Everything actually. Look at the launch lineup. There are 2 Nintendo games that are launching with the system. 2. Out of 23, there are 2. That means that the majority of these games will be cross platform and will be the EXACT SAME GAME you get on a different system that is already out and you have no reason to buy a new console to play. I'll admit, I don't have much to go on outside of the footy that they have playing at my local gamestamp. However first impresions are usually right. I have seen the video over and over for Black Ops 2 and it looks like same damn game. NSMBU looks exactly like NSMB2. You acknowledge that PC is superior, so why do you get excited for an inferior product? I personally dont care if a game is perceived as for children (Lego Batman 2 is a brilliant game), so you get any arguments here. @Mr. Pizza: Stay off my lawn, I just seeded.

This remains to be seen and of course is still speculation, however that doesn't change that nintendo's "Small step up" is something that was available to console gamers 6 years ago. The ability to see a game that wasn't designed for an HD environment in HD can be disastrous. Also up-scaling is availible on every game that is on 360 and PS3, as none of the games resolutions run in true 1080 before up-scaling. So again 6 years. The games I have seen on the WiiU look exactly like 360 and PS3 games that are already available. Thank you for proving my point. He is my thoughts on the lineup in order. Don't Care, Already Played It, Don't Care, Don't Care, REALLY Don't Care, Not Into Toys, Don't Care, Was Actually Going To Care, Except that it is the game show not the racing game and it is already out on Wii, I do care, Already played it, Don't Care, Don't Care, REALLY Don't Care, Already Played, Already Played, Already Played, Don't Care, Don't Care, Don't Care, Don't Care, Don't Care, Don't Care.
