why should only the admins vote on it they arent the only ones that play

uh i guess you didnt set it up right what i used to do was have one txt of maps that would be much like a regular map rotation, all stocks that are well liked, and have the vote (and rtvs) default to only picking maps from that list (with it not picking any map thats been played in the past 5 maps) id then have the servers nominate list just like a normal nominate list, with all the customs as well as the less liked stock maps on it, and if someone during the map nominates one of those, that will be included in the vote id also only have it have 5 maps instead of 6 because then you get a few maps with like 3 or 4 votes and theres rarely a clear cut winner so the nextmap ends up being something that fewer people wanted try it that way every time the server reboots it goes back to vanilla until someone switches it on its kind of interesting that people say that it makes scout more powerful, when in fact you actually only shoot 9 bullets with it on instead of the 10 that it fires with the spread set to random, so you do less damage you also dont have to deal with hilarious long range meatshots (i did 110 with a crit meatshot from FAR away yesterday and that shouldnt happen at all ever) really though the spread being off most often only affects scout vs scout its so incredibly annoying to be fighting a scout and to KNOW that i shot him dead on but only a few of the bullets hit him due to some stupid spread and then he hits me for like 90 and i die if youre a demo or a sniper you really cant say anything about a scout at all either way because either way youre dead simple as that

i cant stand viaduct and yeah i used to run my server with end of map vote it was nice because wed end up playing a much larger variety of maps while still playing the main core of maps the most

doublecross is such a poorly designed map as i can sit in the back as a sniper and cover basically the entire map and get a pretty ridiculous score without too much effort itd be quite nice to see turbine again as it is by far the best designed ctf map really needs to go especially now that on it all certain people do is melee only heavy and when theyre on my team it really gets on my nerves great map would love to see it again i like it but most people dont i think it should be removed awful fps and really not a good map please no gets rtvd a lot and a lot of people hate it im ok with it but id say it needs to go gets rtvd the most out of anything really needs to go maps id like to see in the rotation ctf_turbine cp_fastlane koth_nucleus in place of harvest maps id like to see on the server itself to rtv to pl_cave_b6 <-- for nostalgia purposes cp_aqua - awful map but i miss playing it oh yeah and the pl and a/d cp maps really need to not be right next to each other id also like to see votecrits to permanently set crits until the next votecrits vote, and if crits are turned off to also disable the random damage spread (as that is much more annoying than crits)

but with the level 3 pushing you away with the bullets you cant always get close enough to melee it (although i do have a bunch of demos of me ubering my friend as sniper and engineer and him meleeing huge sentry nests to death)

why would you want a melee weapon that can do more damage to buildings when if you have a huge thing that shoots flames you can be even further away and still have the same effect

they dropped too frequently to be hats

nah man personally i just think owning a mac is silly but there isnt anything wrong with it and ps3 or 360 doesnt matter to me just that people buy either or instead of a wii

who cares all i hope for is that sony tears nintendo apart with this so the wii becomes less popular and people realize how terrible of a console it really is

since its 3 items im really hoping its the 3 items that were supposedly accepted when the valve used some pro players to test weapons thatd be the pdq gru and fireproof suit (and theres already a vtf of the fireproof suit in the game) i really like all 3 of them too pdq would make engineer actually fun gru will give the heavy a long long long needed buff and fireproof suit will make playing basically any class fun because youll have dumb spies on the other that think giving up their revolver for any reason is a good idea

wow....... really sorry to hear that i know this isnt what you were referring to but for the first 4 hours of this game i absolutely despised it but now im really enjoying it

the fan, like a lot of the unlocks, are only really useful if youre not very good at the class it allows people to get that [slightly] easier kill that i guess they wouldnt have been able to get normally but then you cant go anywhere from there once you gain any proficiency at all with the scattergun the regular one is far superior its ridiculous

the first 2-3 hours are so incredibly awful but after that it gets better and better but anyways enough ff13 talk in this thread

im pretty sure theres no one thats good with the sandman on the server since i only used it for 2 days about an hour each day and i already have the global stun award bonk is actually pretty useful and i find myself switching to it if i use the sandman the fan isnt useful at all ill pick a medic with it and then wanna take out whoever he was healing before he realizes im there but i cant and by the time i reload he knows im there and getting the kill is much more difficult yeah man i can barely play at all anymore now that ive got a new job (also ive been playing ff13 any spare moments that i can play videogames at all)

and then you shoot again and you have to wait before you can again so you cant do anything id much rather land a clean meatshot and have 5 more rounds ready

how can anyone enjoy using the fan
