Yeah, there are several artists in the community here who release original work along with remixes.
I just released my first album "One Day Millennium," which you can check out here with previews and all that. One of the calling cards of the albums is that I strove to be sure that every track had a strong, memorable melody. It's certainly videogame-ish in that aspect.

Just to speak for my absence, I'm two months from graduating and in the process of sending resumes and cover letters out, along with my toughest course load yet. Suffice it to say that this project isn't very high on the priority list of life.
For those interested, Fishy's and my Bowser mix is done, and I'm about 50% done with the staff roll.

Man, Newgrounds is slow to respond to copyright problems. A week has gone by and nothing has happened. 50 more downloads since then, too.

Not cried cried, but I have certainly teared up in church several times. I'm sure I might on my wedding day too.
Also, from this thread it appears that my Mario 64 credits remix might be enjoyed once completed.

W...T...F. Alright, guys, randomly came upon another big one. I'm pretty positive very little on this page is his, and there are 73 tracks there. I found some of my stuff, what I thought was some of zircon's stuff, and a bunch of videogame remixes that may be OCR.

Well, I can see the desire to control the promotion of your music, but unless you caused him to change the video information since yesterday, I didn't see him actually claiming credit for the music. It seems he just enjoyed it enough to spread it, and most people attempting to plagiarize wouldn't put the album art in the video or put the artist name and track name in the video, they'd change or obscure those details instead. I'd encourage him to change the vid description to properly plug the material so others can be informed and find your music if they like it.
Nah, that's not what happened. He was using my ODM picture for his profile picture, as well as using the same picture on songs by "DJ Audix" that I didn't produce. I've gotten a few messages on it recently; apparently some guy is trying to copy my name by adding "DJ" to it. I just received a message this morning that confirms this. Apparently this "DJ Audix" claims he made the art himself and by using it, is trying to associate himself with my work.
And also, I don't care at all if people post music from my album (properly credited, of course); in fact, that'd be pretty cool.
Anyway, it now seems that this jameswh139 isn't the culprit, so don't go after him. He removed the videos and profile picture, and all is well. -

Wow, I'd never seen that "Torture Game 2" before. That's absolutely disgusting.
Also, in the context of the article, does nothing to "tackle the big issue" of torture.

Doing half the soundtrack for it, you can check out some of the tracks at the link above in a gameplay video. Also, check here for new updates if you're curious. I know it's been worked on for a while but it's slowly getting closer to a Beta 3 release.
Other than this, I haven't played any HL2 mods.

Did anyone else watch the White Socks/Twins make up game? That was some good shit. Griffey throwing out the runner at the plate was sweet as hell to watch with that massive tackle.

S'go guys! I just finished my voting; right now all three OCR artists could use some votes (within contest guidelines of course-don't just give votes away without thinking). We're sitting 6th, 3rd, 6th, and 2nd. Only one hour left!

I was at the twins/sox game last night and it was awesome. I didn't want to go because i was certain i'd be disappointed, but after the longest 4th inning of the season, they manged to piece things together by the end.
I can't believe they swept the Sox. Unbelievable. We don't deserve to make the playoffs playing this badly.

Judging guidelines! (copied from zirc’s post)
* When you judge, you are presented with two randomly selected songs. You must listen to at least 15 seconds of each, and then select which you like more, or if they are the same to you. Once you vote, you are presented with another pair. You cannot select any given song to vote for; you have to wait until you are randomly given that song as part of a pair.
* Once you listen to 15 seconds of a given song in a round (eg. quarterfinals, semifinals, finals) you do NOT have to listen to it again! This makes your votes go very quickly after you have heard all the entries in a category.
* Vote honestly and your vote will count for more. Don't just pick "same" for everything and vote up OCR artists "by far". Other songs deserve to be judged too. The best way to support OCR artists (and OurStage itself) is to not try to game the system.

I've got an N64 that I bust out every once in a while with the friends. Probably got 30+ games for it, including Pilotwings.
Big games for us are Goldeneye, Mario Kart, and Beetle Adventure Racing.Strangely, I don't own Ocarina of Time, and have never played it.
