  1. I heard yesterday in the news that someone who hasn't been seen since a Canoing Accident 5 years ago showed up in a picture taken last year. This isn't Reuben, but what I'm saying is, there's always hope
  2. Thanks. I just got confused when someone said take off the intro and outro, which I did, then I was told to bring back the outro again! I don't know if it was from the same person, but GAAAHHH! I can't be confused or this remix won't go anywhere!
  3. Ok. I'll try a little more on it. Thanks for being so supportive. Really helps I'll let a few more people discuss v3...
  4. WTF? I was told to get rid of the outro. And that's what I did! Man, maybe I should just give up? Why do remixes on this site have to be so perfect anyway? They're not official. No label is gonna want to sign them. Ofcourse, there is always the off-chance that a remix might get signed (eg: Technikal's "Anxious Heart") but this is hardly ever the case. Perhaps if you were paying for these remixes, then they'd have to have perfect mastering. But they're free. Producers often release free stuff but don't really mind if it's not quite as finely-tuned as they'd like. It's just a bit of fun. Perhaps I should've waited longer before submitting anything at all? I've made this mistake once before when I submitted Music 2000 material to VGMix back in 2004. I'd like to be able to be acknowledged for some vg remixes, but I guess that day hasn't come yet...
  5. Version 3: http://www.tindeck.com/audio/my/yntl/Iceferno---NightTime-Causeway-v3
  6. Hmm... I might be able to sort out the Kick somehow. And I'll try out some panning on the samples. Thanks
  7. Thanks! That's exactly what I was going for. One of the early posts in this thread said about the 5:33 version that the sounds were bad at 3:13, but that was when the 'agressive' transition comes into play. That is what you're referring to, right?
  8. Here's version #2. http://www.tindeck.com/audio/my/bfbs/Iceferno---NightTime-Causeway-v2 I've followed some of the advice given to me, but you'll have to be patient with me cuz mastering has never been my strong point. Hope it's an improvement...
  9. Thanks for all your feeback, guys! I see that a lot of it is also positive, so that's very encouraging for me. I'll do my best for you lot
  10. Thanks! Didn't realise the bitrate/quality was so low, but thanks for the find!
  11. Ok, here's the new location of the file http://www.tindeck.com/audio/my/amfx/Iceferno---NightTime-Causeway
  12. What the? It should say Download Now Securely next to the filename. I tried to make it so anyone can download it. It usually works...
  13. (Previous subject title "Iceferno - NightTime Causeway (Streets Of Rage 1)" Hello! You may remember me as "Meganium_2097" when I tried uploading a remix of SOR1 - Round 7 a few years back. Well, I've gotten better software since then so the quality has improved. I've remastered the Round 7 remix since then. Anyway, Here's a remix of Streets Of Rage 1's "Keep The Groovin' (round 4)" I made a few months ago. It's a kinda semi-Club Mix because it has a slight intro and outro for the song. Anyways, this is the finished version. I'll edit it if needbe... http://download.yousendit.com/653C10A8662C84E4
  14. Where can I find this? I've looked all over the net for it. I loved it when I first heard it on Windows Media Guide all those years ago. Please tell me where I can find a full downloadable mp3 of it.
  15. This is a nice thread Zircon. Really useful and perfect for people like me who are perfectionists! I wanna put some VG remixes on OCR soon, but I want to be sure that they're as good as I can make them!
