Nicely done. I like this a lot more than most of the recent orchestral offerings.
-
If the judges don't see how awesome this is, then nothing can make it through.
-
I love the ending on this. 2:55 when it comes back after seemingly slowing down. This piece has really grown on me.

Growth of ... I can't think of anything for "G"
Growth of Guile
Haywire Harmonics
Etc.

I gotta get my school's bagpipe group to play this. It's pretty sweet.
-
The synth layouts remind me of DaRude's song Sandstorm, just more unique with humanized arps.
Good job.
8/10
...scary. I don't know if I should take that as a compliment or not...lol
Considering it's one of the most well known pieces of techno out there, I'd take that as a compliment.

This remix has a certain charm that come from the low quality synths. It really has a catchy beat and main melody. Though it doesn't sound at all professional or well mastered, threre's just something about it that makes it entertaining and enjoyable.
I'd check it out if I were you. Yes, you.
-
Pretty average I think. Well produced, yes. Nothing grabbed me and said "THIS IS EXCELLENT" like some of the other pieces. As catchy as the original theme is, I just can't see myself listening to this except on random shuffle.
-
A very relaxing (though not in a put you to sleep manner) version of the temple theme. It's by no means 'unexciting' or repetitive, but I found that the pacing and orchestration of this piece very relaxing.
-
This is a great atmosphere piece. Just absolutely brilliant.
-
This song is sexily jazzy. Seriously, pick up a copy of yours today, you won't regret it,
-
This piece, while being relaxing in it's own right, doesn't really take the original anywhere new.
If you like the Monkey Island theme you're going to like this, if you don't you won't.
-
This piece is well produced and a pleasant to listen to. It just won't jump out at you. 'Fortress of the Knight' is well done, but nothing special in terms of catchiness/'remember that one part?' type revelations.
-
Seriously, this song needs more love. Download it now!

The rainstick sound is a little too present methinks. First synth is a little hollow sounding, but it's not too bad.
Second time you echo that little theme halfway through doesn't really fit well, but I understand why it's there.
I have the feeling that this should be more dynamically varied.
Near the end the high notes ringing is a tad distracting (ergh, I need to find a better word).
Still well done, just a few touch-up issues. After all, I am only one person, and this will most likely appeal more to others.

This mix is a true piece of OCR history. All you newbies out there should give this a whirl to see what DJP did he went on anti-hick meds.
Then you can go to his newer stuff and see how versatile someone can be whilst remixing. Excellent work!
-
Stylin', groovin', smooth work here.
-
This mix is totally worth every byte. Never before has a pirate boss kicked so much ass.
Synths seem to be perfect for the parts they are playing. If there is a way Protricity could've improved this mix, I'm definitely missing it.
-
The synths seem to have these annoying stopping in their builds at points. Really turns me off.
But the arrangment makes up for it. I think it's worth a download.
-
It's a good listen. Not the best I've heard or anything.
Does anyone else think this is far too short to be called 'Perpetual Motion'?
-
Sorry DjP I just can't get into your voice very well.
I like the acoustic guitar and the mellow feel, but the vocals just turn me off.
No, not the lyrics, the actual vocals. It sounds like Garrison Keillor: someone who likes to sing but can't do a very good job of it. It certainly isn't horrible, but I wouldn't want to listen to it more than once.
-
Another great mix by GO.
The first verse is the 'most' out of place. I was waiting for some vocals at the end during the dungeon theme that (sadly) never came.
Just pick this up. It's good stuff.

Blah... I listened to this on my IPod whilst playing Chemical Plant Zone, so that my parents wouldn't yell at me to turn the sound down. I have to say, while I like the original, I think the volumes and emphasis are just a tad off in this incarnation. I can't put my finger on it, but there is one instrument that just doesn't belong in this mix.
I like the bouncy feel of the original a bit more.

I am Sixto fan.
Things have not changed since the awesome Castlevania track I downloaded. This piece has plenty of sweet gee-tar work and enough rocking to make every Grandma in the world fly out of their chairs.
Highly recommended.
