I have voted.
-
I think my piece will be a last second entry.
-
We'll see if I have enough time and creativity after I finish up the other projects I've been working on.
-
Once again, before you submit, you're going to have to compress in some way. Otherwise, I'd go for it. Arrangement is definitely above the bar. Mastering, while not perfect I think is passable. I'd say go ahead and submit this one.
-
Hey Rexy, next time you win PRC you could choose an unclaimed source tune and use that as fodder for the project.
-
I miss Nineko. I happen to think last week's source was absolutely awesome, but with 'back from break' papers to write and everything people just didn't have the time to finish. I know that's how it went for me.
-
Does anyone on the project use GarageBand? I have an arrangement of the Mr. Write theme, but I'm not at all good with polishing. Perhaps someone would like to collaborate?
-
I wish I had enough free time to have done something for this beasting source. Nevertheless, I have voted.

I'm with Koelsch on this one. Until evidence pops up saying otherwise, this is really pretty convenient.
I hope if I die in a tragic car accident that the first thing my family does is take all my hard work down off the internet so that no one may remember me by it...
If it's true, it's sad. If it's not...BAD form.
Well you have a definite reason to not believe 'internet death'.
-
I suspect it is not a lack of orchestral fans, but rather a lack of Syberia fans.
And the piece is coming along quite nicely. Still might want to work on cutting the filesize down.

Who's Karl?
Bladiator, Freemind, Dhsu and McVaffe when called together by the Emixring.
-
We'd better not have a default winner that's not me .
-
Well I definitely got to vote this round. That makes at least 7 or so votes.
-
Well, I am no noob, and I know this exists. I know you hate the contests subforum, but it's really helpful for regulars like me to find what we want to see.
I think the best way would be some sort of 'advertising' thread in GenDisc for contests like this.
-
Since then this project has picked up 8 OCRemixers. I'd say given that doom and gloom post you guys have probably already exceeded expectations.
-
I think there's a little too much echo/reverb for most of the piece, but that's more of a preference thing.
-
I've started downloading now. This means the songs will be on my comp by sunrise. Then I will get to listen to them at 6:00 tomorrow (estimated). Hopefully I can squeeze that in and vote.

I loved Cannon Fodder. This is indeed a sad occasion.
-
Do we know how this turned out?
-
Okay for a little more explanation on my 'generic' synth comment. I meant it didn't have a lot of expression to it to emphasize the way in which it was moving (I'm not that good of a mixer myself as I haven't been able to get my stuff sounding 1/3 this good). It's a minor thing that could be improved if you wanted.
-
Wow. That was really, really good for a WIP. The only thing that I could point out was that the synth was a little on the generic side, but everything else was awesome.
-
Already have something started. Whether I can make my inspiration meet 2:00 minutes and maintain some good sound is another matter.
-
Hey Aeld. I already criticized your work at OLR, but the proper forum for this would be WIP-Non Remix.
Just a heads up for next time, eh?
-
At one point they felt a little behind in terms of tempo, but most of the 'off' sound is the mastering. Just a little more tweaking should be a good fix. I wouldn't have heard it if I had just been listening for enjoyment, so it's a minor issue.

Whoops. Sorry about that then.
