  1. Throw in some (small: within reason) clips from this, and you'll have my vote
  2. This round needs more votes. I don't want to be the deciding factor here cuz I know my vote picks are gonna make a few enemies hahahaha T_T seriously you guys all did great, this was probably the toughest vote choice for me to date. F%&# you guys are too good T_T
  3. All good. We'll be around a while yet, so no worries.
  4. Didn't have an issue, but that is a messed up glitch lol. Must be a LOT of code at that website, I'd imagine it's like a complex machine, where lots of pieces can break >.<
  5. Does CompoThasauce work on your end now Bundio? It does for me :3
  6. Whew, that is quite comprehensive, read it all though! The bicycle replaced with pokemon ride thingy sounds annoying, but the other points seem pretty damn compelling. I'll have to grab it sun/moon when I'm able. Thanks The Damned
  7. Fixed. Thanks. Yes, yes I think you should *edit* return to the compo scene. Surely, some of us miss you I do.
  8. Is Sun/Moon better than the other gens? I disliked X/Y...but that's just me. And I never had a chance to do Black/White.
  9. Happy New Year lamp oils and dodongos!! Next round is up As long as you have enough rupies!! Come back when you're mmmmm - richer!! IT BURNS!!!
  10. Compo: MnP (Meat 'n Potatoes) Round 66: (LoZ) Twilight Princess - Beast Ganon Battle Midi: http://compo.thasauce.net/files/materials/MnP66_6-22_ganonseq.mid Youtube: Deadline: Jan 15th Monday @ 1 PM Vote Ends: Jan 17th Wed @ 11 PM MnP ARCHIVE - made by Trism Submit your remix Here when completed. **If you have technical difficulty with account activation at ThaSauce, please contact me via PM and I will submit your track and will also tally your vote** MISSION STATEMENT The goal of Compo:MnP is to promote that "meat and potatoes" conservative approach to remixing: this includes the mood and composition of source tunes. It is up to the remixer to create their own personalization, or to simply give it a sound upgrade. Moreover, the compo is a great opportunity to hone your remixing skills and give video game music the respect that is due. SOME reinterpretation is recommended, but not required. MnP Instructions/Guidelines 1. Covers and Sound Upgrades are permitted. 2. Most or all of the source notes must be present (but not necessarily in the exact same order), secondly the mood (energy, pacing, feelings being conveyed etc) should also be retained. For example, a source tune that is fast-paced and energetic that's remixed into a mellow/chill-out theme would be a hard sell. 3. If you decide to do a genre swap (i.e. symphonic to techno), make sure that the conditions of #2 are met. 4. Submissions must be at a maximum of 20mb (keeping in step with ThaSauce's file size max). 5. Only 1 entry per participant. Previous winner cannot participate but can submit a BONUS entry. 6. All competitors and voters must adhere to the rules stated within: Competition Code and Conduct MISC/TIPS - When picking a source tune, make sure it has a MIDI to make ppl's lives easier. - In-game sound FX are permitted, so long as they don't comprise the whole track (i.e. replacing entire MIDI tracks with just sfx)
  11. Well, your'e most certainly welcome to participate more. I'm glad to have you in the compo Final Kingdom - same goes for the rest of you guys, girls and attack helicopters.
  12. Results Zorrakh got 1st with 21 points. Final Kingdom got 2nd with 18 points Esperado got 3rd with 9 points PlanarianHugger got 4th with 6 points Zorrakh PM me for round 66 Comments Great round, great tracks, great boobies. Scratch the last part.
  13. Did that already. I put it in as Final Kingdom. IDK - I tried two times, so F it - I'll worry about it next round.
  14. I was unable to vote likely because I had already submitted Final Kingdom's vote using my IP - I don't think ThaSauce likes more than 1 vote per IP address...which is a good feature to have admittedly - but it blocks me from entering my own vote. So here it is... 1st. Zorrakh - Sexy, jazzy and very Christmassy - you knew what to do to get my vote - well done Zorrakh 2nd Final Kingdom - Well produced, the mood is SOMEWHAT altered, but that is not a demerrit imo - your track is very swag, chill and well produced. 3rd Esperado - Not quite the best of your works, but it's a good entry - lots of ear candy and kind of a slapstick vibe - not bad! (edit): on second listen it is actually quite a nice track, but for some reason the brass really detracted things for me - all of the other elements are really good. 4th Planarian Hugger - Not a bad track, howbeit when juxtaposed with the other entries it doesn't stand up quite as well as the rest. Still your entry is worthy of MnP and was not offensive to the ears by any means. BONUS (Starpheonix) - I woulda voted 1st if I was allowed to lol - this is an epic entry worthy of MNP.
  15. Welcome to the Voting Stage! There are 4 entries this round. There are 1 Bonus entries this round There IS a voter bonus this round. Starpheonix has a vote worth 2x Don't vote for Bonus entries please Participants may not vote for themselves Vote ends Dec28th @ 11PM comments: Okay! With that veritable gong show out of the way, we can now resume normal operations. It's voting time!! edit Everyone is accounted for and submitted - so no need to worry
  16. I concur - that track was wayyyy too unrelated to be submissable even to PRC imo - so I went ahead and deleted the track. Apologies to the participant, but it had to be done as the track wasn't following competition guidelines. BTW, I left the round open for submissions for you and Final Kingdom - you may submit your track as a BONUS entry.
  17. Alright, I got Esperado's MP3 submission. I just need Final Kingdom's MP3 now.
  18. UPDATE: CompoThasauce is back up and running Waiting on Final Kingdom AND Esperado to send me MP3's of their entries. Once that happens we will initiate the Voting Stage. So everyone hold on. EDIT I don't know if the first entry is even related to the source tune at all...it doesn't seem that way. Can anyone else help confirm that? http://compo.thasauce.net/rounds/view/MnP65
  19. WOAH - the compothasauce is back up and running again Christmas has been saved!
  20. Woah...ThaSauce has gone haywire...I hope this gets resolved soon - otherwise Bundeslang and I are probably gonna have to look to alternative means of submitting and voting. What this means for the database/history of the rounds...I don't know. What a literal nightmare before christmas T_T
  21. This works as is. Guess we gotta wing this one. Sorry about not submitting anything. I was JUST made aware of ThaSauce being down...this is mildly distressing. Anyhow, I hope it gets resolved soon. EDIT NVM
  22. Well, Bundeslang might protest to that. If you guys made it sound different or polished it up further for this, or his round - that's fine. But your entry sounds the exact same for both compos, he'll probably hit 'em with a BONUS hammer
