Official OCR-Tan Game Thread! Signs of a Possible Revival?
Thin Crust replied to Mirby's topic in General Discussion
What if this actually got moved to the projects forum? -
it's still in alpha. Give it some time. And also click the link on my last post. Sucker Punch decided to go with the old version of cole.
-
I got ya beat. They decided that there was too much criticism of the new cole and they are bringing the old one back. http://www.qj.net/qjnet/playstation-3/infamous-2-new-cole-out-old-cole-in.html

You're saying this isn't a good commercial?
-
Actually his name is Jerry Lambert.
-
You saying they should go back to the white room campaign?

-
There really isn't a way to do it without a 150ft cable going to the opposite end of the house, down the stairs, back through the basement to the other end of the house. So unfortunately, no. The cables going down to the entertainment center are not accessible because they go through half the floor, across the floor on the inside, and then down into the cable box.

does this mean that I can't do it because I use my ps3 is downstairs about 10 feet below the wireless router?
-
MGS Peace Walker only supports local multiplayer. kind of a shame when portable ops could be done over the interweb. Anyway, I heard there is a way for people to play online if they connect to a ps3. Does anyone know how to do that? I'd like the opportunity to do so before I go off to my graduate program this fall.
-
I didn't want a gaming pc. I bought it for school because I'm going away to OH for a graduate program this fall. Being able to play SC2 would be a nice bonus.
-
$600 Too much?

So if everything is up to speed with specs except for the graphics card, everything should be able to process fine, but the video wouldn't be able to perform adequately with it's limitations. Does this mean that with low video settings, it should still be able to run smoothly?
-
Unfortunately my older brother told me that this laptop can't be upgraded with it's video card. The only way to do it would be to throw away the whole thing and buy a new laptop. oh well. I'm having fun with the original red alert right now. And that was a huge pain to get running on windows 7.

Cole wasn't exactly a good character. But that's not what made inFAMOUS great. It was the gameplay that made all the difference.
-
I finally understand why they said that it was like Uncharted 2.
-
http://www.gametrailers.com/video/exclusive-chase-infamous-2/701415 As someone who just bought and beat InFAMOUS 1, I got excited for this game when I saw it at E3. But this is just too much. I may have just gotten my next anxiously awaited title. It looks unbelievable..
-
So the first trailer for Avatar 2 came out. What do you think?

Zero Punctuation (Hilarious) Game Reviews
Thin Crust replied to sephfire's topic in General Discussion
Even with Sony trying to hype up the Move, it still had an awesome showing. Think about it. InFAMOUS 2 Heros on the Move God of War: Ghost of Sparta Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep Twisted Metal Final Fantasy XIV Socom 4 GT5 (GETS RELEASE DATE!!!) LittleBigPlanet 2 Killzone 3 Sorcery (meh. All it does is show that Move can be a useful tool in future games) And that's only the exclusive games. They did pretty good... even though we didn't hear about FFvXIII -
Got the game working. Took long enough. The colors in the main menu and the FMV's are terrible but ingame it's passable. It's really something to see how far graphics have improved since then.

Right now I'm following this google instruction, and I can't find the XP_patch that it wants me to copy. the part at 4:15 Does anyone know what it is?
-
You can always rely on Coop for all of your computer problems. But your thread discusses for vista and XP. Will it work on 7 as well?
-
So I just got a laptop because I'm going away for a graduate program. I looked and just happened to find the original red alert CDs in my house. I tried to install it for old times sake, but it's not working. Also, I google searched many sites for instructions but I'm not very proficient in patches/updates/cracks/hacks/whatever. Besides, I get a permission error when trying to unzip the download folder which is impossible because not only am I the user administrator, but I also tweeked with the security settings on it to allow me to to it. Here's what happens. I click on my disk drive and start it up. I click the install button and it comes up with "Unsupported 16-bit Application" "The program or feature "\??\D:\setup95\SETUP.EXE" cannot start or run due to incompatibility with 64-bit versions of Windows. Please contact the software vendor to ask if a 64-bit windows compatible version is available." Does anyone want to help me out with this?

Wow, what a terrible second half. Here's hoping Sony's is better. But I'm afraid that we'll get way too much move.
