  1. I've had this sitting on my Ipod for a while, and I really do like it- even with all its quirkiness. I'm glad I'm not the only one who picked up on the Sagat reference.
  2. What are we talking here? Jazz? Techno? What kind of party is this?
  3. By the way, here's a link to what you get with Silver. http://audiomandan-music.com/?p=137
  4. Haha, yeah, I decided I was going to order this a while back, but I decided to wait a little while. Good decision- saved me 100 bucks. Should be arriving this coming week. I'm pumped!
  5. Hey, just thought I'd mention that Sweetwater has some pretty nice cuts on their EastWest libraries. Anyone looking to take the plunge and buy their first set of orchestral samples- "East West Quantum Leap Symphonic Orchestra Silver Complete" is only $97.50 compared to the usual $195.
  6. Uh, Ghostbusters on NES. Same theme the whole game. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=reE95exnMAo Did anyone mention Crazy Bus yet? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4RnUAsUjPPU&feature=related I mean WTF is that shit?
  7. I was searching for Sega Genesis music, specifically Sonic, and I found DjP's "Love Hurts". I LOVED it (still do), and began exploring other remixes/remixers. That was quite a few years ago... maybe 2003 or 2004?
  8. Ahh, good to see Blue Magic back! I love your work. Very mellow and relaxing intro. Loved the transition around 1:40! Overall a great interpretation of Fear Factory. Definitely up there with the recent Permutation mix. Keep it up- we want more!
  9. Unfortunately no, but I think that's an excellent idea. Yeah, the acoustic solo was the only part that kinda threw me off- it starts pretty good, then from like 1:25 to 1:31 the guitar disappears. I'm sure someone around here can help. Great track you're working on here. Very upbeat, happy, and surprisingly clean! Oh, one other thing: I noticed a little break in the music around 4:23-4:24 as you're finishing the song. Maybe try to close that gap up. Best of luck with this! Hope to see it posted in the future!
  10. Man, what a great song! I absolutely loved the vibe- very suave and melodic. Really, really loving this mix. You guys did a kick ass job! Looking forward to more in the future!
  11. hahaha, yeah, that DJ was pretty damn bad. But the tracks were pretty good- the Common mix was my fav off the album.
  12. That's fine, thanks for your help! It's a great start.
  13. Much appreciated Bahamut. Thanks anyways!
  14. Hey there everybody. I was trying to figure out where these tracks came from- my friends wants me to create some similar sounding music for a game they're creating. I tried to pick some of the more distinct songs from the many I received. Sorry that I used two different hosting sites, I wasn't sure which was better. Regardless, they are two separate tracks, so give em both a listen. Thanks for your help! http://www.filedropper.com/sa001 http://www.megaupload.com/?d=APRZUARY
  15. A Wii, Uncharted 2 for my PS3, a wallet, a belt, and some Polo Black.
  16. Amazing. The instruments, the effects, the production, the vocals, everything. Honestly, this is an absolutely fantastic piece you've concocted here. If it weren't an audio file, I'd put it on a golden pedestal. Please continue making fantastic music. You rock.
  17. Ok, I had a great big list, but the page refreshed and erased it all. So here it is from memory... First track I thought of was Wingless's Guardian Legend remix. I always pictured people waltzing to this. http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR01459/ Here's some peaceful acoustic guitar tracks. Geoffrey Taucer's most recent track for the Xenogears project was awesome. http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR01919/ Here's some Pot Hocket. Good stuff! http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR01882/ http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR01634/ http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR01518/ There's also another Pot Hocket track off the FF7 project called "Sleep my Sephy" Find it here. http://ff7.ocremix.org/tracks/ Disc 4- Track 1 Ok, Jazzy time. This should be perfect. Runaway 5 do not disappoint. http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR01847/ For more upbeat Jazz, try LSD. http://ocremix.org/artist/4805/lsd Downtempo jazz more your style? Check out Neskvartetten. http://ocremix.org/artist/4548/neskvartetten The Thieves of Fate project has a track called Cold as Hell, which I think you'll enjoy. It was a bonus track, so it's on the bottom of the page. http://rd.ocremix.org/download.html And of course, you've got to get in some DCK Aquatic Ambiance. I feel Vigilante's track will best suit the mood. http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR01242/ I hope everything goes well. If you can, please post a set list with your choices. I'm curious to see what's on the list! EDIT: Knew I'd forget something. Why has no one mentioned Vampire Hunter Dan yet? Lol, he's got some great stuff. Some of it can have some mood swings though, so be sure to give a potential track a through listen. I'd recommend... http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR01501/
  18. Aw hellllll yeah! I first heard this in the WIP, and knew for sure it would be a hit. Friggin awesome song! I can tell that you touched this up too! There's more noodling thrown in there, an entirely new solo, and overall a much more fleshed out and pleasurable experience. Perfect improvements. Just like last time, I was bobbing my head the whole way through. Groovy as fuck. GREAT JOB!!!
  19. Hot damn! This is catchy as all hell! I've heard the source a few times, and never once thought it could be spun this way. Amazing take on it! Like Harmony said, that bass is truly killer. I can tell you enjoyed making it. If I could suggest a few things, one might be to pepper in some playful synth soloing with that lead you used. That would really take this one over the top for me. The ending isn't really that bad, but maybe you could try to jazz it up a just little bit more. But all criticism aside, that had me bobbing my head the whole time. Superb job! Can't wait to see this posted to the site!
  20. Hey, thanks for putting up the link. This was incredible!! I was amazed to see such a creative and masterful artist at work like this. It was a truly beautiful experience. I'll be sharing it with all my friends!
  21. Oh hell yeah- Holiday with Mia Fey!!! Beautiful stuff right here- loved every bit of it. Keep up your fantastic work OA.
  22. Yeah, same here. I feel that the RRR will give newcomers as well as everyone else a nice sampling of music outside of the weekly reviews.
  23. Beautiful episode! Great to hear VGDJ is back up and running! Looking forward to the next one! P.S. I have to agree with what some others have already said- Russian Remix Roulette would be a pretty nice to have back on the show. Besides that amazing work and keep it up!
