  1. I might do one. Here's my audition: http://tindeck.com/listen/pldm (last I heard it was in the judging queue with 2 YES's) Source is here: and if you want something more recent you can judge me on, this is an unfinished remix I can't finish because my computer got attacked by virii a few days ago. - http://tindeck.com/listen/zugw Edit: Put me in for Goron's Lullaby + Temple of Time from OoT
  2. Had all 3 here too! Don't know what happened to them though. I think we have one at our summer home at the lake, not sure. Has anyone had a unusual craving for bananas since coming onto the project? Also, get your bananas in gear and lets finish this album! Or I'll kick you in the bananas.
  3. I originally made this 40 second snippet a few months back so I could ask you something, but I forgot about it. I still kept it though, and eh, decided to ask away eventually. Apparently. Heh. At any rate... Would it be fine if I used actual game music in this way? http://www.speedyshare.com/files/27304838/Idea.mp3 Actual game music fades in and then it gets all acid. Heh (Bayou Billy, by the way)
  4. When I first started with FL, I went to YouTube to see if I could find anything I could use for inspiration. I found this: I remember wanting to remix it so badly, but back then (this was maybe 2 years ago) I couldn't do it because of my low skill level. But I vowed to remix it one of these days when I felt capable enough. Hanging out here for a couple years (and on the IRC channel) gave me the skills necessary to attempt such a thing, so...I'm finally doing it. Here is how it sounds currently: http://tindeck.com/listen/vkdz
  5. Hey guys, lets go! If nothing gets done we're just spinning our wheels here.
  6. Lets say you have a bunch of lets say....snares that sound almost the same. in FL, can you link them up to that they play round robin style (I.E. with every note hit, a random snare sample plays)? I've been doing it another way, but it's very tedious the way I'm doing it.
  7. http://www.speedyshare.com/files/26914504/Dis_Club_is_Fulla_Monkey_Ninjas_0.298.mp3 Working in my chosen genre...heheh. Nearly finished. I just need to do some tweaking and finish the original section.
  8. I reiterate... I CANNOT WAIT FOR THIS ALBUM!! Emunator, you have done an outstanding job. I'm honored to have you as a friend, man.
  9. This is for my 2nd album I've just started on. I never have a title in mind at this point with any of my songs, but this one is definitely going to be titled "Never Look Back" http://www.speedyshare.com/files/26765258/NeonFire1WIP.mp3
  10. This started from one of JH's compos. I wasn't actually participating but I used that time anyway to start a new original, and decided to submit it when time ran out. Ol' Joe heard it and asked me if I wanted to collab, but when I heard his submission a bit later, I KNEW we had to. 3 days 22 hours later (according to SolidComposer last time I checked a little while ago), we have this almost finished WIP: http://www.speedyshare.com/files/26572709/Synthetic_Blue_-_Dance_Before_Dawn_6.mp3 Name's a WIP too. It's now called "Trance Before Dawn". I must recommend him for guitarage if anyone needs some.
  11. http://www.speedyshare.com/files/26348500/StickerbrushEnhancement.mp3 Rather than a remix, I tried to enhance a song from DKC2. Took an hour or two to finish. Peach from IRC inspired me to do something like this.
  12. Could you somehow put this on your site in the tutorial section? Or make a video of it? Thanks. Or better idea, Someone with a fairly good video capturing device, record it!
  13. That Space Invaders threads in the Judges forum got me thinking. It got 2 NO's and a NO (resub) That resub was from Vinnie, and that set the ol' gears turning. if a 4-note source could possibly make it on if it was fleshed out enough, I'm wondering, what about THIS source ( )?Probably the most minimal source ever, and since I'm sorta interested in avant-garde music like some of John Cage's stuff ( 4'33" comes to mind, as well as a bunch of others, definitely not that one though ), I'm wondering...would it work if done well? It's been bugging me lately and I'm trying to figure out how it could work.
  14. I've been wondering....what is up with the capitalization in the title anyway?
  15. Oops, forget that. I'll see if I can convince Cyril do do some metal with me for Battle 2. Dragonwolf might rock the hizouse!
  16. Wes has been like a father to us, supportive but strict. You owe him that much. Hell, he'd be one HECKUVA father.
  17. You're pink, so I might yoink it away if ya don't hurry up! I'd never do that though. You're fine.
  18. with the included FL Soundfont Player, I just found a free alternative at KVR. http://www.kvraudio.com/get/2617.html Put some choir in my Phendrana mix with it (via Fluid 3), and the render doesn't bog down at all. So all you people having problems, check that out.
  19. http://www.speedyshare.com/files/26039822/Meeting_the_Maker.mp3 And yep, I'm using the Sound Stretch. I love it and I think I know how to use it now. Post production in FL, like always. I used a very slow phaser effect to get the track to "move" like that.
  20. This guy used a remix from The Wingless ( this one: http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR00996/ ) and well...click below: Words fail me...
  21. Would a remix based solely on this source work out? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kwVRgDvjvPg Been thinking of doing this lately, inspired by our own Doug Perry. His All-percussion remix was deemed to be not-remixable at first either...but what do y'all think?
  22. Emu, You have a Christmas present in your inbox from me.
  23. DrumUltima wants to know... <DrumUltimA> is a remix acceptable if it's an arrangement of a theme backwards? And I think he means if you like...take a theme and reverse the melody.
