IIRC, he made that comment shortly after he and Aonuma saw Shadow of the Colossus in action for the first time. That gives at least a hint in the direction he was thinking, I suppose.

The embarrassing part is that an e-mail I personally sent was answered in that Scribes, so I'd read all those letters before. How I then totally forgot this one is beyond me.

Nintendo made sure all the Donkey Kong related characters (including all of the Diddy Kong Racing lineup except Conker and Banjo) were in their trademark camp before they let go of Rare. Including any of them in Brawl wouldn't be an issue.

Haven't played 3 or 12 yet (nor most of 10). On topic, I loved Final Fantasy 1 to death when I finally played it. Far too easy on GBA, but still fun as hell. FF2, on the other hand, is still giving me issues. When the final dungeon continuously puts you up against nine Lamias and the game has no Ribbons, something's wrong.

I'm still mad I didn't get to see Tauce to a barrel roll into that fountain. =/

Haven't actually had the chance to pass much time with you good folks on this forum, but I wanted to drop a post in real quick to note that I'll be there tomorrow; I live in the area and plan on dropping in. I managed to score a ticket thanks to Kroze, and I plan on hanging out with everyone both Friday and Saturday. EDIT: Guess I'll be sitting with you guys afterall!
