  1. I'm getting tired of repeatedly saying the word "fantastic", but really, there's not much else to describe it. Such a wonderful, wonderful show. Personal favorites were Hikari, the Metal Gear Solid medley, "Castles", and the Katamari Damacy track. Also, props for choosing some of the more obscure songs from the Kirby Superstar OST for that arrangement, because you totally made us all go "...wait, this is Kirby? What?" XD
  2. Me either. I think it's because I'm just not used to seeing him outside of drag.
  3. Were we watching the same movie? Because that's what they played during the credits. Or at least the first half, with the space panoramas and big name actors. Saw it at the local IMAX, and god, I loved it to pieces. I can't really say anything that hasn't already been said about it, so I'll just leave it at that.
  4. It's from Phantasy Star Online ep 2 (OST is named "Songs of Ragol Odyssey"). The track is the first of two final boss themes, "IDOLA Have the Immortal Feather".
  5. I was there last year, and you can be sure I'll be there again. Free + 10 minutes from my house = can't miss!
  6. I do believe I'll take this opportunity to potentially trap you all for hours in a wiki binge under the guise of relevant discussion. http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/AmericanKirbyIsHardcore
  7. Oh god, this is the awesomest thread I've ever seen. XD Due to coming down with a sudden virus, I haven't gotten around to watching 9 subbed yet, and missed 10 raw when it aired yesterday, but either way, I love this show to pieces. Probably won't be Skyping since I have no microphone, but I'll obviously still be watching. ...unless by Skype you mean IMing? Cause I seriously don't know a thing about how Skype works other than "VOICECHUT", so I assumed you meant VoIP, but maybe you didn't.
  8. The gas station just down the street from where I live does this too; it's an entire chain apparently.
  9. Probably going to be difficult without a job and with Otakon around that neck of the woods, but I'm gonna try and get to the Baltimore one.
  10. Man, I'd kill to be able to see this. Too bad that preview looks like an industry only event (and I'm nowhere near L.A. anyways).
  11. IIRC, that song isn't even on the official soundtrack, which makes it even harder to track down. Shame, cause the combination of the track and the mental imagery from the actual in-game area was lovely at freaking me the hell out.
  12. From what I understand, the easiest way to make sure you're safe is just to check and see if Windows Update has been functional at all within the month of March, since one of the first things the virus does is cut WU out. Of course, running full checks to be safe would be smart, but anyways.
  13. Ah, good video. Though the part about the king asking the hero to save the village and the hero refusing before being asked again immediately made me think of this.
  14. It was hard to pick out at first, but I think that's just an issue with my headphones, as they're starting to break. I'm definitely getting working stereo on that.
  15. Greenill RAmarl named Heather (the name has a story behind it, but it's one of those things that's embarrassing to get into, making me wonder why I bothered in the first place). She's about level 20 or so. I plan on making a HUcast myself next, since in the past I've always gravitated toward Rangers and Force and I want to try something different now, but I was trying to get the RAmarl a bit higher first.
  16. ...dude, I'm running a level 20 RAmarl through various sidestory Ep 1 Mines quests on Schthack right this second. YOU HAVE POTENTIAL BUDDIES ALREADY.
  17. Not quite; Sega's dropped support for all servers on all systems for this game. Unless you're going to play on private servers, or are willing to "upgrade" to Phantasy Star Universe, you're stuck.
  18. But that's okay, because the reason people love Skies of Arcadia anyway is its cheerful (non-angsting) characters and sheer atmosphere. Not to say that Grandia II wouldn't be an excellent purchase though. Get that too.
  19. Oh god, that makes it sound like somebody wrote fanfiction about Jill cheating on Andy with Brandon. Also, happy belated. ))
  20. Oh god, PLEASE do not let them name their children like romantic namesmushes. D: Also, fantastic news. Much congratulations to you two.
  21. Anybody remember back in those days in the 90's when our "knowledgeable" friends and classmates claimed Culex was a hidden boss in FFIV? Good times, good times.
  22. Wonderful game. It had its problems: the already mentioned ridiculous random encounter rate, for one; ship battles being neat to watch but not that special; normal battles from about the half point on getting too simple (except for Piastol in Legends, where the AI accurately assumed you were Delta and Justice Shielded every turn and would kill at least one person if you weren't); and especially how it was so easy to overpower your characters and break the game via Ilychmis' shop. But the plot, characters, and atmosphere just totally overrode the problems for me. It was all overdosed in clichés, but to me, that's why it was so charming. In a five year period where every RPG was tripping over itself to follow Final Fantasy VII's lead with darker, edgier, and more emo characters/plot, SoA felt like a breath of fresh air with its return to form.
  23. XD Nobody knows what that one is. It appeared here before because I was asking what it was from, and nobody answered then either.
  24. I already was lol'ing at the idea of this game in general, but that GLORIOUSLY 70'S TOKU INTRO just won be completely over.
  25. Looks like everything's been claimed already, but for future heads up, I can help with this easily. I already often transcribe 30 minute Power Rangers episodes for, well, another purpose I'm not going to go into detail on here. ¬_¬ (but at least I wouldn't have to cap screenshots for interviews)
