When I was speaking of the tempo I was referring to changing it at certain parts of the song. As I said before, I do actually like the pace. I only mentioned that because I noticed it's a common technique to add a bit of variety. As for the climax, the best way I can describe it would be the part of the song that really makes the "core" song (in this case, the observatory theme)stand out. To me, this can mean making the theme a little more prominent, maybe a little faster at that point. It can also mean that all the instruments chime in for dramatic flare or 1 or 2 main instruments take the stage as a kinda solo. But the climax means the core song gets to be the true star of the show. When I listen to your song I see a fancy ball bathed in a golden glow. A band playing in the corner while the guests drink wine and chat. In the middle or the room is a dance floor where couples waltz slowly to the music. There are many couples at first. But around the middle the crowd begins to part allowing the spotlight to shine on one couple. A couple whose dancing steals the show. They waltz and spin in sync with each other, feeling as though they are the only ones in the room. This is where I imagine the song reaching it's climactic point. The music becoming dramatic and prominent as it reflects their love (man I watch too much tv lol!) I hope that I explained this okay. Unfortunatley I'm terrible at articulating my thoughts . I honestly can't offer any technical help. I can only try to explain how I feel when I hear the song. Hopefully someone with more musical experience can chime in instead of all these wishy washy feelings of mine lol

Yay! More SMG mixes <3 While I can't comment on the quality of the instruments (cause my speakers are garbage), I can at least offer input about the arrangement and pace. I really like the slow and mellow pacing you've used for this piece. It makes me think of a romantic slow dance at a ritzy dinner party. But at the same time, I felt there wasn't enough variety throughout the piece. Maybe changing the tempo or something would help. I just felt like there should be a more dramatic climax point in the song. Anywho, hope I can at least make a little sense. You've done a good job so far and I hope to hear more

I dream of remixing the Doopliss Battle theme (from Paper Mario 2). Something totally hard rock techno and chiptuney (ala. Protodome or Halc) . With a dash of uber church bells rocking in the backround. Why oh why has no one given this awsome song love yet?

I actually bought the game last week and so far, it's one of the most fun I've had with an rpg in years. I'm not saying it's the most groundbreaking, but a hoot no less, especially if you like classic rpgs. The graphic are pretty cute, the battle system is really fluid and intuitive, and even the voice acting is pretty good too. I also find the music to be fairly enjoyable as well (especially considering I find most games like this have very irritating music). The best part, is the chars and the writing. I've really laughed a lot at some of the dialogue. I would highly recommend this game to anyone who likes classic type rpgs.

I was so upset over the fact that Arek was simply going to drop the project without a word The art various users have posted are fantastic stuff. I hope there's enough material here to get a release of some sort. Oh I'm so excited now! XD Hope is not lost after all <3

Yay! KH mix <3 I like the beats, and the beach waves in there. But I find I'm having 3 small problems: 1) I like the intro and I don't have a problem with the length. However, when it gets into dearly beloved, I find that section is just too long and a bit too repetitive. I find the same thing after the hikari bit too. 2) I like what you did with the backround beats and sounds, very nice. But, (and I might be wrong here)I'm not hearing enough original tunes here. It's seems as though you stayed pretty close to the source throughout the whole piece. Dunno, just would like to hear more expansion that's all 3) (this is a very teenie quawm) When you switch over to the hikari portion of the song it just doesn't seem as though it's as smooth as it could be. Personally, I would love to hear or of a duet of the two songs. But that's just my opinion. Sorry, I don't mean to down or anything and I hope I make sense. I do like the piece and the rhythms/ambiance you made. When you submit it I wish you the best of luck

Yeah, I totally agree. You suggested the same as I was about too (good thing I read some of the thread lol!)Especially Dearly Beloved, I know it has been attempted a few times but I would love to hear more from that source. Can't really say much about KH2 songs though, I really didn't find them as riveting as the first game. Oh well KH is KH either way Hopefully some remixers will help us out here.

I usually don't like rap remixes, but I totally dig this one. Great voice by the way, I thought you made a really convincing rapper . The only things I can think of that may need tweeking are: 1.First half of the lyrics are great. They are both dynamic and enganging (I loved the part about the stupid skull kid lol!) The second half however I just got a little bored. I felt like It was mostly repetition. Small quam, but I feel it none the less. 2. What was the source of the first half? I couldn't really tell. But maybe I'm just slow. Awesome work man . Hope that if and when you submit it gets approved. <3

Howdy all, once I heard the new remix for Mad Monster Mansion I was totally reminded of one of the greatest vg songs of all time... the Doopliss Battle theme, as heard here: Anywho, I really hope someone might remix this one day ( I suggested it before but the thread seems gone...).
